What i love about SMs vocal line is that they have their own distinct tone. You would know who is singing even if your eyes are closed... And when they harmonize its the best.

@lainelaine8533 Thank you! I’ve been saying that for a while. As much as I love some of the 4th gen boy groups, telling their voices apart has been a real problem for me. Like you, I often put it this way: If I close my eyes, it could be anyone.

This is definitely one aspect that draws me in to SM groups. To think that Super Junior, EXO, SNSD and (especially) NCT who have a bunch of members but SM still manage to put such different tones into one group is truly a great job. And added that they can still harmonize so beautifuly with those voices 😊.

Exactly! plus people would think, the song was simply recorded in autotune or what esp., the new song releases but SM records and produces their songs meticulously. If one checks in their recording, they don't do autotune but do a lot of vocal layering/harmonizations! :) I know the company has been chaotic but full support for SM fam, artists!!

Well, all SM Group like that. Of course Riize too. In Super Junior, even Heechul which is the position as visual & dancer and comedian haha was making everyone shocked when he's passed through King of Masked Singer until 3rd round. And Kyuhyun is the one that encourage him to participate while teasing him to not failed in the 1st round 😂

The thing about SM group is that not only each member can sing but also they know how to harmonize. Every time new group debuts from SM, I always find interesting about how their harmony already sound like they’ve been in the industry for 3+ years. I know they’re trained and instructed that way, but it’s still amazing to hear them doing it so effortlessly.

@@findfefito I mean it's better than idols who barely sing together in the track. RIIZE ability to create harmony is there, regardless if it's prerecorded. There's no way a single person can recreate 5 vocal layers + effects they did on the studio. Ofc they need backtrack here and there or it's not gonna sound like the same song. Logic??
