4K Virtual Walks is documenting history for the future with a JFK Airport walking tour in Terminal 4 to the AirTrain in Queens, New York.
On a personal note, John F. Kennedy International Airport Terminal 4 is the home to Delta Airlines and one of the busiest Delta Sky Lounges, we’ve ever seen. Terminal 4 was extremely busy when this video was filmed on Friday, June 30, 2023.
According to the Airport, JFK Terminal 4 was opened in 2013 and currently handles international arrivals at JFK Airport. It serves as a major international hub for Delta Airlines for its long-haul flights and other airlines.
According to Wikipedia, John F. Kennedy International Airport (IATA: JFK, ICAO: KJFK, FAA LID: JFK) (colloquially referred to as JFK Airport, Kennedy Airport, New York-JFK, or simply JFK) is the main international airport serving New York City. The airport is the busiest of the seven airports in the New York airport system, the 13th-busiest airport in the United States, and the busiest international air passenger gateway into North America. Over 90 airlines operate from the airport, with nonstop or direct flights to destinations in all six inhabited continents.
JFK is located in the Jamaica neighborhood of Queens, 16 miles (26 km) southeast of Midtown Manhattan. The airport features five passenger terminals and four runways. It is primarily accessible via car, bus, shuttle, or other vehicle transit via the JFK Expressway or Interstate 678 (Van Wyck Expressway), or via train. JFK is a hub for both American Airlines and Delta Air Lines, as well as the primary operating base for JetBlue. JFK is also a former hub for Braniff, Eastern, National, Northeast, Pan Am, Tower Air, and TWA.

Just a little correction, at 6:17 it's Terminal 4, Concourse B. The terminal is divided into 2 concourses, A & B. A to the East and B to the West, B being the longer of the two. Btw, what camera did you use to record?

JFK is looking nice these days. In reference to the Delta Sky Lounge..credit card companies have easy perks to get into sky lounges, free food etc. Why lines get so outta control. Used to be for elite million mile passengers now its for anyone. Hudson News is a NYC staple, in all the major transition hubs, airports, bus terminals etc.

Terminal 4 is one of my favorite terminals at JFK, it’s massive with lots of food options. My next favorite terminal is the JetBlue terminal 5. BTW there’s no terminal B , that’s concourse B in Terminal 4.

@@VirtualWalksWithJohnW All I remember is she had a lot of dark hair and had a backpack and roll along suitcase. I think she was kind of in the beginning. Great videos by the way. My wife and I are going to Germany and I’m using your videos as a guide to which airport to fly from.
