ありがとうございました 💮 Sincere thanks for another superb exploration of Japanese aesthetics through your video and music. I have enjoyed listening to koto for a long time and then discovered tsugaru shamisen, too (though that is a style which may be alien to Kyoto!) But I also love electronic music and discovered Yokota Susumu a while ago. Though I have to admit that I am currently obsessed with Band-Maid! Best wishes from the UK!

Very wonderful expressions of the present moment but does not express wabi Sabi, which is more like an experience of a koan when viewing something outside of its expected nature that opens the mind and senses like a temple discarded foundation pillar used as a cleansing basin at tea hut 🙏

It's been said that wabasbi means that we are beautiful because of the hardships we've all gone through and hasn't broken or destroyed us..that made me Accept what I see as my ugliness..I can still love myself.. and that's made me who IAM I'm stronger then those circumstances.that brought me to this place and time in my acknowledgement of my life.given to me by the one and only true CHRIST!! The Japanese describe Wabi Sabi as difficult to explain as love. You have an innate understanding of love, but your interpretation is unique to you based on your experiences.

@@pixiniarts how wonderful an explanation.. do you have a YTchannel ... insta or FB account that i may follow to learn more about Japanese emotional and Aesthetic concepts from you🙏
@pixiniarts
@pixiniarts 4 жыл бұрын
@@kevinlimcool Sadly I don't talk to anyone about aesthetics, I'm British most of the people I know have little interest in such concepts and they have a more western appreciation of aesthetics. it has always made me somehow apart from people here, the appreciation of things that I love and that interested me seemed utterly alien to others. I can still remember years ago discovering the concept of Wabi Sabi, it was like this great puzzle piece falling into place, it finally gave a name to the way I thought and felt and to my personal philosophies and ideals. It was strangely deeply comforting on a spiritual level. Having never had anyone to discuss such concepts with I feel I would be poorly equipped to guide or teach anyone. Have you read In Praise of Shadows by Jun'ichirō Tanizaki?
