japanese people are soooo quiet in their neighborhoods, no dogs barking, no shouting, no noise. i wish i could live in this kind of neighborhood where neighbors have respect for other houses and very quiet

Wellllll, that’s nice too, but there is a WONDERFUL BEAUTY with the sound of /hearing children playing in the yards/outside, dogs barking and street cars going by; and the smell of BBQing, ppl talking & laughing AND seeing ppl sitting in their yards on lawn furniture, or on their front porch on a Sunday evening enjoying the breeze and summer sun too. Japan/Japanese ppl are BEAUTIFUL...but so are so many countries and their ppl. Thank GOD for the difference, yeah? Maranatha & Aloha from Hawaii🌴🌺🌺🚗✝️💜

Not everyone wants to live in silence. If you like that good for you. Some people like to hear music and have life in their neighborhoods. See children playing etc. But I can appreciate all cultures and their differences. Personally this is a bit tooo tranquil- for me for everyday.

When I was watching this video, at first, I sai "that's so beautiful, quiet and calm" but after a few minutes the silence started to become uncomfy for me, I understand why people would go as tourists to Japan and places like this, but living there, for me at least, would be a nightmare, this kind of silence is so loud xD

Japan stands out as a distinctive country where its people, culture, and traditions converge to create an almost flawless, yet distinct experience. Only a handful of places worldwide have achieved modernity while preserving a truly distinct cultural identity. It's important to note the wide range of diversity within Japan, but it's equally important to appreciate how these cultural values enhance every facet of the country.

I've read this sort of comment before and in many ways I agree. While I love the distinct culture Americans have developed, I believe they have not yet paused to re-review what they started to see where they could improve whereas in Japan there doesn't seem to be any limit to how often they want to keep improving.

I only spent a few days there and about 10 total in Japan and instantly fell in love. I was living Hawaii at the time and lived there for over 10 years. Hawaii has so many Japanese tourists and honestly living there tourists in general get annoying. I was not always the most patient with tourists and going Japan I was treated so kindly and would have Japanese business men helping me with trains and more...super awesome. I totally shifted how I would be from that point on with them in Hawaii and showed them the same respect I was shown always. A respectful gracious culture. 🙏🏾
