honestly i was happy that he even got put in the pretty good category. I see stafford get so much hate all the time because of the lack of playoff success. So many people ignore that this team as a whole has been a dumpster fire and stafford has been carrying it on his back ever since he got there

Pretty good is fair. He threw for a career high 3,300 yds and never broke 4,000 yds, even factoring in rushing yards

He shouldn't have even been drafted #1 anyways. My niners didn't know what they were doing. But I'm a Smith loyalist and he has more grit than almost any player today. He has his flaws but did have a touchdown drive while blind. Then benched right after. Pretty Good is fair.

GENE HALL and he deserved to go to jail for that. That’s understandable.That arguably why he didn’t get inducted to the Hall Of Fame. but He is still one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time due to his unique play style unseen at the time. A dual threat quarterback of his caliber deserves at least HOF rankings.

Vick definitely should’ve been in the “potentially HOF” section. You can argue that he won’t get into the hall of fame just because of making his dogs fight, but he is better than “pretty good”

Not really as it would be difficult and unfair to rank some players careers when they've only played 1-3 years (and in the case of the 1st overall pick of 2020, haven't played a single down in the NFL).

@@andymofoincross For starters, the list would be on picks 2010-2019 (not '20). Every player from Bradford to Murray will have played. Also, just because some guys will have barely played compared to others doesn't mean it wouldn't be cool to take a look at how everyone's doing so far. The list wouldn't be definitive, and I think everyone would understand that. When it comes to ranking Murray, I'd imagine KTO would say something similar to what was said about Stafford (who still has about 10 years left) in this video: "he's a 'pretty good' for now, but that's subject to change as his career goes on."

Yeah. Now that I'm closing in on 30, though, I feel bad. I was a dumbass from 0-25 (probably still a dumbass). To be expected to make good decisions from 18-15 or so is tough if you are literally one of the best at something. You get chicks, recognition, money, pride, etc. If I had all of that at a younger age, it would go straight to my head. It's easy to underestimate the difficulty of changing a car battery, let alone how well you'll do in the big leagues when you've been the best at it your whole life.

He doesn’t have the numbers to justify being a HoFer though. Like KTO said, if he hadn’t been sidelined from injuries and jail time we’d be talking about him possibly being in the Manning Tier, but he did miss all that time and that hurt his case and that’s why he will definitely not be a Hall of Famer.

Lol no. He Didn’t ever throw for over 3500 yards or 21 touchdowns, didn’t accomplish anything in the playoffs, got into severe legal trouble and his entire career has been glorified because Of Madden. Barring injury Cam Newton will break most of Vick’s rushing records in the next 2 years while being 10x the passer Vick ever was.

I agree, honestly if he had the giants organization behind him instead of the lions he would instantly be hof candidate. I think he's going to end his career top 5 in noteworthy qb stat categories. Like Frank Gore, dude is going to Canton with no noteworthy hardware, just incredible stats.

No he's not. Passing for a lot of yards doesn't mean crap when your career passer rating is lower than Trent Green's. And don't give me the Super Bowl thing, his defense carried him through both of those. Durability is impressive, but does not qualify someone for the Hall. It's the same reason that Frank Gore shouldn't make it, and that Curtis Martin and Jerome Bettis shouldn't be in.

Stafford is Manning level, even back then in 2019. The only thing he had not accomplished by the making of this video was a Superbowl win. He was the fastest to so many QB marks like yardage and TD's until Mahomes came along. He had been held back by a terrible team with terrible management for 9 years. His first chance away from the Lions and he wins the Superbowl says a lot.
