The Bears have played more games than any other team, with 1,506 across both regular seasons and postseasons since 1920. They have had quarterbacks pass for at least 300 yards and 3 touchdowns in 33 of those contests (2.19%). Let's see how that stacks up with the other 31 active teams: 1) Saints: 80/908 = 8.81% 2) Patriots: 85/1,042 = 8.16% 3) Chargers: 82/1,014 = 8.09% 4) Colts: 79/1,113 = 7.10% 5) Cowboys: 70/1,048 = 6.68% 6) Vikings: 68/1,021 = 6.66% 7) Buccaneers: 50/783 = 6.39% 8) Texans: 23/367 = 6.27% 9) Dolphins: 57/942 = 6.05% 10) Chiefs: 60/1,028 = 5.84% 11) Bengals: 52/896 = 5.80% 12) Packers: 85/1,498 = 5.67% 13) 49ers: 69/1,219 = 5.66% 14) Rams: 68/1,288 = 5.28% 15) Broncos: 54/1,025 = 5.27% 16) Raiders: 52/1,028 = 5.06% 17) Ravens: 24/481 = 4.99% 18) Bills: 49/1,022 = 4.79% 19) Panthers: 23/484 = 4.75% 20) Eagles: 63/1,338 = 4.71% 21) Commanders: 61/1,344 = 4.54% 22) Seahawks: 34/795 = 4.28% 23) Falcons: 39/923 = 4.23% 24) Jaguars: 20/483 = 4.14% 25) Browns: 47/1,146 = 4.10% 26) Lions: 54/1,355 = 3.99% 27) Cardinals: 57/1,446 = 3.94% 28) Titans: 37/1,023 = 3.62% 29) Steelers: 48/1,335 = 3.60% 30) Jets: 34/1,008 = 3.37% 31) Giants: 45/1,455 = 3.09% 32) Bears: 33/1,506 = 2.19% Ah. So not only dead last, but comfortably so, with the two New York teams their only semblance of company. Even the expansion Browns (1999-) have done so in 20 of their 407 games (4.91%). What's more is, here are the quarterbacks who have accomplished this feat more than the entire Bears franchise: Tom Brady (73 times) Drew Brees (69 times) Peyton Manning (51 times) Aaron Rodgers (46 times) Dan Marino (35 times) Ben Roethlisberger (34 times) Matthew Stafford and Patrick Mahomes have each done so 30 times and Dak Prescott 22, so it's conceivable they'll catch up to Da Bears before too much longer.

Even as a Packer fan, I can tell this would be an agonizing video to a Bears fan. May I remind you Bears fans that the Lions have forever struggled to even get a winning record, much less find a franchise QB. Now you can argue they are the best team in the conference. You Bears fans had your 80's to look back on at least, both the Lions and Vikings havent won a super bowl

The best Bears QB of the 70's and early 80's was Walter Payton. Trivia note: Bobby Douglass held the season record for QB rushing yards till Vick broke it.
@myblacklab7Күн бұрын
Imagine if the Bears had had a good coach who used Payton as the first dual-threat running back. McMahon to Payton to Gault would have been stellar, and if Payton could have faked passes after burning teams with his arm, he would have been an even more effective running back.
@jgrey8959Күн бұрын
@@myblacklab7 That would have been awesome. But I don't know about 'first'. The old dual threat tailback has been around since they invented the forward pass.
@myblacklab722 сағат бұрын
@@jgrey8959 I'm probably wrong about "first," so good point! If not first, I think he would have been the best-ever dual-threat running back. Could you imagine what a nightmare it would have been to try to guard Sweetness, if defenders had to defend against the pass when the ball was in his hand? He did throw a little bit when playing RB, but he could have been utilized much more as a passer.
@jgrey895920 сағат бұрын

He can win a high school or low-level college when everyone tranfers to his team. However, he's a terrible coach and can't compete against real coaches. His coaching style is "be cocky and be great," but his players are cocky, and not going to always be DNA great. They need leadership and good plays in the playbook, he cannot produce it. Edit: Collin is a moron

And this is why I stopped watching football over a decade ago. You could do another video on Bears busts at running back. I grew up watching Payton, and I liked that dagger towards the Bears at the end with Love. Poor Caleb Williams is doomed. And I just learned who he is.
