Hey, I hope you read this and reply ! I know what I am about to type may sound crazy but its my last hope ! I have my job interview in 4 days...I drive a 1997 Lexus ES300...my alternator has died on me :( I have absolutely no money to buy one either, (have been unemployed since I came back from Iraq). I have tried everything to fix this alternator and nothing has worked. I do happen to have a 2005 Toyota Highlander alternator that just so happens to be an EXACT FIT !! I measured down to MM !! BUT....the only problem is that my 97 lexus es300 has an almost rectangle connector for the wiring harness to alternator and the extra 2005 toyota highlander alternator connector is just about a perfect square....is there any possible way I can find a way to adapt it to fit my 97 lexus' adapter ? I honestly am desperate and will even go as far as just cutting my harness on and adding female terminals to my wire ends and try to hook it up that way. I have got to make it to this job interview (it is pretty much a guaranteed job....i just have to make it there)...THANK YOU !
