fa_ be_you Hi, when you place a conversion back on the camera you move film plane some cm behind its original position.... so you have to simply change stop position of the lens same distance behind its original position to have everything matching. Hi Larry I was making this video 9 years ago and there were no Instax Wide back at that time. @@MarcoLucifora hello again i just got around to ordering some X-ray 4x5 film and i was wondering what type of focus i should use on the Polaroid 800? Should it be set to infinity or is there a setting you use?

@@entity9742 basically one the back is mounted, focal plane is moved about 39mm behind its original position.... so if you lock the lens of the 800, 39mm behind its original position.... what you focus with the viewfinder will be also in focus in the film

Ciao Marco, I am interested in converting a Polaroid 110b, can you still make the converter? Also I guess the conversion changes the focal plane of the film , does that mean all focusing is with the ground glass, or can the rangefinder be recalibrated? Thanks. Chris.

@@MarcoLucifora I understand Marco. Like I said, it was a great creative idea just impractical with many 4x5 cameras going cheaply in Ebay these days. Maybe seven years ago it made more sense.

Wayne Simon for sure. I’ve sold many of it when polaroid 110 were super cheap... and there were a lot of 4x5 films available.... now 4x5 instant photography is almost dead

@@waynesimon2963 Not many 4x5 cameras can fit in a pocket (a big pocket, ok...) and as a user of diferent types of cameras I find this one very interesting nowdays. I would love to have one.
