Even better, if you remove the rubber bladder from the reservoir, put the cap back on, you can hold an engine vacuum hose to the vent hole in the reservoir cap and it will pull the air pocket out of the master. There's no pumping involved. No specialty tools. I had my clutch line disconnect twice on a 700 mile trip and I figured out how to do this in a summit racing parking lot in Georgia and re bent the clip for the line while I was there and it stayed ever since that day

Sorry to break it to you but that wouldn’t be a good race at all. Fyea’s Colorado is fully blown with a whipple super charger making 600+hp. For $2500 trev won’t come close to that number.

The super coupes came with turbo 4cyl (2.3L) and super charged 6cyl (3.8L) you could get the 5.0 in the normal trim models.

I’ve never spun out luckily but I second this n can say I have had the abs system lock up the brakes on me a couple times having fun and some close calls in my 93 5 speed 😂

You hold an engine vacuum hose to the vent hole on the reservoir cap with the rubber bladder piece removed... there's your backyard/roadside emergency trick to bleed a ranger clutch.

You need to go back to the t bird and get the vcrm module it usually sits on the radiator below the fan grab wires and relay for it and it should the fan you got automatically

Nahh, just hold an engine vacuum hose to the vent hole in the reservoir cap with the rubber bladder piece removed. Works flawlessly... especially during a roadside emergency when the clutch line pops off the slave unexpectedly.

I recommend the microsquirt with 8ft harness from summit for $425 after taxes. It's what I'm using for my 5.0 & M5OD-R2 swap. Very versatile. Only thing is, you'll need to daisy chain a second unit if you want to use an automatic trans.

Nahh... remove rubber bladder piece from reservoir and put the cap back on. Now hold engine vacuum line to the vent hole in the cap with the engine running. Sucks that air pocket out every time. Best way to bleed a ranger clutch without any tools or pumping fluid.

I have a 91 ranger also that I'm thinking about doing a V8 swap in. I need to look for a 8.8 rear end because mine has the 2.3l and those has what? 7.5? It's a 5 speed but I think when I do a swap I'll put a auto in it. it looks like headers are the only issue I've found so far online but I see where some use manifolds from the 70's and they seem to work. Idk? If I'm gonna go that far with it I would like headers on it.

Yeah I just saw you bought springs so everything I said was pointless but the idea does actually do something a football actually works better in some situations because of the shape of it you get kind of a progressive “airbag” old school tricks from high school when boost is more important than handling
