I can't tell you what THEY are using, but I have this pack and carry a snugpak ionosphere, snugpak quart sleep system, folding shovel, axe, canteen kit, mattress, tarp, fire kit, poncho, and a Kylmit pillow (not to mention all the little stuff buried in the pockets, and my pack is only at 70% capacity. $250 is steep so wait til it's on sale again and BUY IT!

@@K2KAYAK do you think it is possible to carry a rolled up sleeping mat along the side of the bags main compartment?

Red-dirt- Walkabouts It would have to be a thin mat. I’d say rolled up: No bigger than 5-6” diameter and no wider than 14” There are straps that come on that pack for hanging your mat off the bottom of the pack. I use an inflatable sleeping mat which rolls up so small I can throw it in the main compartment. I have my ionosphere tent on the exterior/bottom of the pack.

The RUSH72 wasn’t designed to be a Ruck. It was just a VERY upscaled version of the RUSH 12&24, This RUSH100 is designed vertically to balance out all of the equipment for a Ruck rather than let it all sag down to the hips. I recently just completed a 24hr Ruck with a RUSH72 and I can fully say that i will not be making another Ruck with thatbag. It was not comfortable at all, and the organization for my supplies wasn’t even remotely close to what i needed. It was just one giant sack for my food, sleep system, ammo, etc. and then the front pocket was full of admin and medical. Items shifted all to easy because they sat in a giant “bowl” of sorts rather than stacked in a vertical organization.

@@gryphon1342 how much weight were you carrying? I was wondering if this pack can support 25kg loads?

@@andrewlei2980 mine is a 30lb (13.6kg) ruck. It’s probably possible, but it’ll be really tight

@@andrewlei2980 i carry just around 35LB in my rush 72 and its takes that ok .....but i am looking for a better alternative....although its far more comfortable than the military backpacks that ive tried
