Universal studios has an AMEX lounge. I think any card gets you in. They have free bottled water, snacks, seating and AC to get a break from the crowds and heat.

Universal Orlando no longer offers an Amex lounge. They terminated their contract with Amex. The former lounge is now a store in Minions Land.

*Regret* (But it works out in the end) I cheaped out and got a low cost Airbnb in Philly. We walked in to wet towels on the couch, a bed that looks like someone just got out of and hairballs on the floor… and it was in the hood. Felt sketched out/unsafe with my girlfriend and immediately logged into the Amex portal. Ended up paying 3x as much to stay at The Loews in downtown. I used my $200 credit, got a free upgrade to a Club Level room (32nd floor) and received $100 experience credit to use at the luxury restaurant tonight. I am so glad I got the Amex Platinum. Tomorrow we’ll be going to the Centurion lounge for free dinner, cocktails and two massages … before we take our Frontier flight back 🤣

The plaza premium lounges are one of my favorite secret things. I go to Mexico often but to visit family and the airport in Mexico I go to is small and only has one lounge which is a plaza premium lounge which always comes in handy to get something to eat or drink

Agree on Sebby doing a CSR comparison. But from what I have seen in the past, lounges and other secret perks is where Chase falls far behind! But they are getting better.

Great info! Note I've been to the US Open the last 2 years and unable to get a reservation (or get in on stand by) in the Amex or Centurion Lounges.I've been an Amex member for 20 + years and have a Platinum card for the past 2 years.

🤫 We stumbled upon the Amex lounge at UBS arena in NYC. We were attending Stars on Ice (US & Canadian Olympic Figure Skaters). The lounge was great, and we got 1 free drink each, but the lounge is along the outer wall of the arena, so no view of the action. Will definitely check out the lounge at the Javits Center during Comic Con next week. Also, as far as rental cars go, with Hertz, I have my Amex Platinum linked to my account, and the dicount code is automatically linked to my Hertz Rewards, so I seem to get special pricing for being a member, plus the 4 hour bonus. The catch is that I usually pay with my Sapphire Reserve for the 3x on travel and primary loss damage insurance. Thankfully Hertz hasn't caught on yet. I've brought my car back a couple hours late a few times now, and nothing extra gets charged. So double 🤫🤫

🤫The lounge in Stockholm has a real restaurant ”Pontus in the air” (Platinum or higher) for you abd a guest. In Sweden there are more airports and train stations with this perk: Amex as you go for you and a guest.

8:30 YYZ priority security is only for Canadian Amex cards. It’s buried in the FAQ and I’ve also checked in person to see if they could just let me by 😢

🤫 I got a letter from Priority Pass stating that there are now charges for entrance to a member lounge. I have access because of Chase Sapphire Reserve and AmEx Platinum. Not sure which membership caused it. Have you heard about this?

It's all of Priority Pass, regardless of how you're enrolled. However it only affects day passes you must pay for, which really only affects direct subscriptions that weren't part of a credit card benefit. In any case, free entrances are still free.

I debate the platinum so much. I don’t fly much maybe once or twice a year but I stay at hotels 2/3 days a month for staycations. I have a Hyatt card as part of my chase set up. But would branch out and use my status and still pay with Platn for other benefits . 🤫

Correction EZE- is a big centurion lounge in buenos aires- I was there this past august . Was nice.. its a centurion lounge. Bigger what american airlines flagship in buenos . Not amex lounge .

I have tried to use that twice and both times was refused. Most recently in Alaska where the Hertz owner/franchisee said they didn't have to abide by it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

🤫 I really like their lounges and access-as-a-perk at events and arenas, feels like a really easy way to make me feel like I have some sort of exclusive perk (that a billion other people do, too) so I wish they had more! Quick note about the YYZ Priority Lane, it appears to be only for Canadian Amex Platinum holders. I only know because I was excited to skip a line last time, flying out of Toronto, and instead the website said that my non-Canadian Platinum was not valid. 😅

PNC should go after the NFL official bank as this will help with their expanding footprint. I have been at the PHX escape lounge and was not that disappointed. Cardmember entrance at Crypto/Staples is a great perk if you are running late due to LA traffic. 🤫
