awesome, welcome! yeah theres rare traits that can be found in the world, (or dropped from meatheads) one of them is called shadow and AI can't see you. If the trait is red, that means its a "burn" trait and after death it'll be removed.

When you have the Shadow trait, mobs don't attack you but can still hear you. If you get too close (like walking into a meathead as they swing or run through a swarm of hives) you will still take damage, though. With Shadow, you can group up the grunts together and lead them with noise as a personal army.

this game would 100% get me hooked again if they would stop catering to the solo players by giving them infinite self pick ups dont always have fire on hand and still think it should be a one and done perk but thats just my opinion
