Well i’ve been growing out my hair for the past 7 months and it literally seems like the awkward phase won’t go away. 😂 My hair from the back never seems to grow at all !

There's definitely been a few times were I've wanted to get a short haircut but I'm pretty deep in the growing your hair long game that I'm not going to give up now. I actually hit 16 months today. I've been able to tie my hair up since 14 months and now I'm able to tie it up fully with the exception of a couple pieces of hair that isn't yet long enough. I want to grow it out and hit my shoulders. I'd be at that length if my hair wasn't so wavy at the bottom, all good though.

I was so close to exiting the akward phase and my ex asked me to cut it before we broke up. It was a last ditch effort to save a 5+ year relationship. My hair is starting to get long again. And I'm really loving it. From my experience I learned that I should be happu first, I should be happy with myself first. And if people wanna be with tge real me. They are the ones that matter. I hope and wish the best for her. But im really glad we split. Even though I get sad sometimes I know someday I'll be happy. Really happy. Sorry for putting this here. I guess I just wanted to vent some of my feelings for a second. I hope it helped someone reading tho.

Been through it brother almost a year ago me and my ex and mother of my child split after almost 8 years. It's still tough but it really fucked me up for a long time. Just now starting to feel a bit better about it. This too shall pass.

it’s damaging to brush your hair when it’s wet isn’t it? also blow drying is not the best either as far as i know. i have about 8-10 in. hair and i let it fully dry and style it after it’s fully dry. i generally do a center-side part and no products. but it still shine because i use no shampoo or conditioner and i always wash with cold water
