Subscription earned. 👊 great information on the budget range of cameras, and amazing high quality content. Your work is great dude. I appreciate all the effort you put into it. I have owned the ZVE-10 and its a little beast of a camera. Paired with the 35mm f1.8 OSS lens it could get some really cool b-roll. As a podcast camera it did great. No overheating issues after almost 2 hours. Had to sell it but now looking at something else again. Used A6400, maybe a R50, or go into the Fujifilm system. Fuji lenses seems much more affordable than all the others. Lets see where I end up after a 1000 KZfaq videos 🤣

I would much rather buy the Lumix G95 than the a6400. Cheaper and has buttery smooth IBIS. It's even weather sealed. Plus it's Lumix... Shadows are unreal.

Great video brother. As an M50 user, I honestly dont feel I need to upgrade any time soon. Im more of a photographer than videographer but Im slowly getting into videos lately. I just recently found your channel and i also use a Canon M50 for my videos and film making. I was thinking about switching to R50 but i decided not to. Even though its a lot better than M50, i ended up making sort of a cinema rig with my M50 and will try to make cinematic look in my movies (with cynestyle) included ofc. I've been watching your videos night and day. I got a second hand M6, I love the camera, the aesthetics, the functionality, the quality. But, unfortunately, the M50, which I consider n inferior camera, is way more popular, hence the lack of videos about the M6. So I watch all your material about the M50 and adapt it to my camera. ;) The R50 looks amazing, but I already own 2 R6, so , until Canon comes up with a RF camera with the M6 form factor, I'll keep it. The only thing that doesn't make the M6 a perfect camera, is the lack of the articulated screen. I'd guess that's the reason of the over popularity of the M50 (and price, of course) Anyway, I enjoy your videos, keep posting. And thank you

They are not the best for that due to rolling shutter and lack of IBIS. Between the two I would go for the ZVE-10 if that was my main usage.

Good video! I have been going down the rabbit hole for a camera for KZfaq videos. Mainly shooting 4K and 1080p video. Would be mainly on a tripod, gimbal, or overhead, as it would be showing my hands to unbox/build things. I was really set on the Nikon Z30...seemed great for the price, 2 lens kit option, video quality. Until I found out about the overheating problem....seems to overheat in 20 min on 4K. so dumb. So then I looked into the R10...then found the R7. Better battery life, slightly better video quality, IBIS, dual SD card slot. I think I am going to go with the R7 with the 18-150mm kit lens. From what I have seen, this should be great for what I need it for. My budget is 2,000 USD. Do you suggest another camera (with lens) in that price range?

The R7 and R8 are great in that price range. If you can stretch your budget another $200 I think that the S5 Mark II is the best value for money currently available.

The thing I like about the R7 is for $1800 currently, I get the body and the 18-150mm kit lens, which from what I have seen, will be a great lens for the videos I want to make. I figured as a beginner, its a great setup (even overkill for most), and I will be able to grow with it and have it somewhat future proof for a few years. But what do you think? Do you think the R7 will be great for making KZfaq videos?

Love your videos! We are trying to learn as much as we can. We currently have a Sony a6400 but knew nothing when we bought it and soon found out it didn’t have ibis so most of the hand footage was tossed out. Since we use it for snowmobiling videos etc and don’t want to pack a ton of gear always like gimbals and tripods we are looking for a better camera. We currently have a sigma 30 and a Sony f4 18-105 lens. What camera would you recommend we start looking at? We want 4K slowmotion and great stabilization.. are we asking to much to get this at an affordable price ? Sony a6700 or forced to look at stuff like the a7s3 which is way out of the budget

The S5 II is the way to got but it a bit more expensive than the cameras on this list.

Cool ty, yeah i figured it might be that expensive. One more thing. Whats better if you want to shoot in log. The ZVE 10 or the 50 R with the downloaded log/"raw"? cause i feel like the ZVE should be better there cause its from the company, but i really like your perspektive!

Sooo, ZV or R50 for not too long videos with that granular and vintage feel? Also that smog in the air deep in the woods feel. Not too sure on what to pick. Very nice video btw!

Both can easily do it. The look itself will have more to do with the lighting and color grading as opposed to the camera used.

Great content, thanks for the valuable advice! I have a Canon EOS 77d and used it for mainly photography in the past. Since I am getting more into videography lately (specifically automotive videography) I wanted to ask for your opinion on the 77d for that matter. Do you think it is a solid camera for shooting cinematic footage? I know it’s only supports 1080p recording and I would also consider selling it for another, better videography camera around 700$. What are your thoughts?

I'm not familiar with that camera. At that price range you could grab the EOS R50 and adapt your EF and EF-S glass to it.

Thanks! Not using a teleprompter. Reading lines and utilising jump cuts that are masked with push ins and b-roll.

@@markelovett No I mean I read one line, memorize it. Look into lens, sat it a few times. Read next line, memorize it, say it to cameras etc...

My first Camera was the Canon M50. Perfect beginner camera. The newer version is called the Can R50. It would make a great first Camera.
