Not here in dfw, nothing to buy unless its a an 80 year old flip in a high crime rate area. Everything else is 300k and up.

This is my question too. Can I combine the USDA loan with down payment assistance program? I understand you don't need down-payment for the loan but can I use it to pay closing costs etc.

Good question! You can not combine a down payment assistance with the usda loan. If you need help with closing costs you best options would be asking the seller to pay them and negotiate that as part of your offer OR use gift funds from a family member. Hope that clears things up! :)
