Most versatile and underrated piece of equipment and not all the gyms have it. One great thing is the core activation in most exercices.

Great landmine exercises dude, I just brought & installed a landmine to the base of my squat rack. I never did landmine type exercises prior because I wouldn't without anchoring the barbell securely first especially when using heavier weights...

Got a landmine for my homegym and barely used it till recently (and feeling pretty foolish for missing out so long). The "farmer squats" are great for when your back is getting banged up or you fancy some variety. Edit: Also top tip- You can start the farmer squats with the bar up on a bench, it's easier to load and you don't need to clean it to the start position! Another cool lift is a "Meadows Row", lifting the bar from the side with one arm. Those feel real good
@real_Tablespoon9 ай бұрын
Yes to both the bench and meadows row!!

It's great these guys posted a vid on building a landmine attachment, but until you make your own cut an "X" into a tennis ball and slip over one end of your bar, stick that side in a corner, & get some.

See, now, when doing the standing shoulder press I feel like the weight is getting lighter as the bar gets more vertical. To fix this, I do them kneeling instead of standing. On shoulder day, I also superset with standing lateral rows. Feel the burn, eh!
@matsuwd-emethdaath40024 жыл бұрын
good point as this will also involve the abs even more
@mikebird18294 жыл бұрын
The weight is getting “lighter” the closer the bar comes to perpendicular to the floor. By kneeling you are moving a higher percentage of the weight throughout the movement.

My back has grown just because of t bar rows without the t bar . Lucky I have 50lb York plates that are smaller to get that longer range of motion. I know a real big guy that loves the t bar rows without the T bar .... so I know it works . I never got much from doing wide grip rows .
