Tribit speakers are ALMOST a Bose killer. I have two models and they sound great. But my new small though not micro, is the Bose FLEX. Only Bose I own, always resisted Bose due to design and cost. Bought a pair and they are the only speakers I use for music in my office. JBL extreme in my garage.

Hi, what about Willen sound distortion with bass music? İt was really annoying when I tried it with alot of songs.I dont care 15-30 hours if there is a broken sound or looks cool.Could you say no distortion?

Are you gonna try out the Soundcore motion 300 Danny? I got it a couple of days ago and it sounds great imo. Had to update it twice through the app to get the LDAC to work but, then had to manually turn it on in my Bluetooth settings as well 😅. But man its a pretty cool speaker and built like a tank.

I’m surprised the Bose SoundLink Flex didn’t make the cut. Best speaker out of this lot is most definitely the Tribit StormBox Micro 2.

I've got the Tribit Stormbox Micro 2. It is a GREAT sounding speaker, particularly for outdoors use. I take it whenever I go hiking / hashing, and use it strapped to my belt, so it's not bouncing around, making a nuisance of itself. I actually like the fact that it does not draw attention to itself, until I turn it on and start using it, and then it's "how can something so small sound so good!" :-). My only peeve about it is that the Type C charging port is not covered. The Micro 2 is rated IP67, but if something ever gets stuck in that uncovered port, then it's game over.

Saludos. Posdata: también si conoces más pequeños y potentes se vale, aunque no creo que por sus cajas acústicas puedan ofrecer mayor potencia.

Doesn't anyone use an equalizer on their music? There are a few good apps that have up to 20-band equalizers. Even some basic apps can do a very good job on bass and treble. Believe it or not, Walmart sells a very good, small speaker, the ONN mini rugged speaker, for under $10 that does a great job, way beyond its price level. Solid built best pairing next to JBL. It is well built, reminds me of the JBL Clip first gen, though does not sound as good. Put it in a corner and it sounds smooth, no distortion and makes a GREAT speaker phone that is easy to carry around, battery lasts a long time. It is not going to beat any of these speakers, but should be an option, beater speaker that can withstand abuse. Great for young kids, easily fits into small, thin laptop bag. I stumbled on it when I was house hunting and needed a speaker for phone calls to real estate agents. Was at a Walmart getting some road munchies and saw this speaker. For $10, I figured if it was not very good, I would just leave it for the hotel maids. I still have it and have moved to our new home state, renting until housing crashes.

The Wonderboom and Explore are the best

Looking for a replacement to my Logitech UE Mobile Boombox. I mostly use it to listen to podcasts and KZfaq videos. What would you recommend between the Marshall Willen and the Bose Flex?

If I wanted such a small speaker I would choose GO3 for around 35€. For $100-160 I would go for something bigger like soundcore motion boom,jbl charge 5,tronsmart bang max...

JBL needs an upgrade on all their models they are stagnant like Bose soundcore and Tribit are bringing it.

I'll be damned if I'd reward Ultimate Ears for releasing a new speaker with a fucking Micro USB port in 2023. That's just disrespectful. Also at this moment B&O Beosound A1 Gen 2 has some colors going for like $135.

I would get the Tribit but it looks sooooo ugly.
