These are 5 financial principles that have had a deep impact on my life! This video is to educate and get us all familiar with what God's word says about money. The goal is for us to get more inline with what God has intended for us, as we are all works in progress and are growing in our faith!
1️⃣► 1 TIMOTHY 6 : 10 - (01:12)
One of the most misquoted financial bible verses! Money is a tool for us, it isn't evil. As the verse states, it's the love of money that is evil. Please know, that the love of money has nothing to do with how much money is your bank account! So no matter how much money you may have, or not have, this verse is universal.
2️⃣► MALACHI 3 : 10 - (03:04)
No matter your viewpoint on tithing, know that we just cannot go wrong by giving. Tithing allows us to step out in faith with God and watch Him do something really special! I encourage you to always grow in your giving efforts.

Remember, Jesus himself said: "It is more blessed to give than to receive."

When we were slaves to sin, Jesus came to set us free. I don't think God wants us to be in bondage when it comes to debt. If you have debt due to mistakes or circumstances beyond your control, I believe God wants to see His children living debt free lives!
5️⃣► PHILIPPIANS 4 : 19 - (7:48)
Putting our trust in anything other than God is silly. The economy, our job, our bank accounts... these are places we should not be placing our trust and they are shaky grounds that will only let us down at some point!

I never thought that everything we needed was in the bible. Thanks for sharing! One of the verse that impacted my life is where it says the borrower is a slave to a lender. I really felt like a slave thats why I got out of debt.

I believe the same I will drive a car or truck paid for instead of beening in debt. Live in a home comfort instead of a mansion. Beside Jesus values you more because he has a mansion for all that make it n the streets of gold beneath your feet. Don't let the world control you you control it by the word of Jesus. Show the honor in Jesus from the inside of you not the out side. Remember how Jesus was tempted by satan n what he offer to Jesus if all he did was bow to satan.

Not tithing robs God of respect. The message said “you don’t have to tithe..”. If you look at the chapter or so before the verse that says “ ..bring the full tithe...” you will see God says “you give everybody else respect but you withhold respect from me by not acknowledging me. Tithing is showing God respect so I love all the pointers and just wanna include: if you don’t want to rob God of respect (not money) then tithing is a MUST!!

I loved every bit of this! My best money lesson from the bible is from Ecclesiastes 11:2; Invest in seven ventures, yes, in eight; you do not know what disaster may come upon the land. Given the present economy, this is as true as they get. Never put all your eggs in one basket. As one who has been into Real Estates for as long as I can remember, I made my first million earlier this year from stocks alone (got the help of a pro though because I don't have a lot of spare time). I also try out a couple of other things. Now I am a firm believer of the saying a jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one Best wishes!

The borrower is the slave to the lender, that’s so true even in littlest. Three things have caused me sleepless nights: debt, having to perish from this life one day, and needing to do something financially and not having the money to do it and having to borrow the money 💴. As soon as I pay off a debt, it doesn’t feel good letting that money go in the moment, but it dam sure feels good knowing I don’t owe anymore, and I’m not even Christian 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️😆😆😆

Every night before we go to to sleep we should make our lives right with God so that even if we were to die in our sleep we will still go to Heaven. Here is a good prayer to say before sleeping and throughout the day. Say dear Lord Jesus I thank you for dying for my sins and I receive you as my Lord and saviour. Lord Jesus please forgive me of all my sins, wash away all my spots blemishes and wrinkles and fill me with your holy spirit. Lord I forgive and release all those who have done me wrong and I ask you to bless them. Lord Jesus please write my name permanently in the lambs book of life in Heaven in Jesus's name I pray. Amen🙏🙏 Pass this prayer to everyone, Jesus bless you.

Loved the part about debt, it's so true since my wife and I decided we want to clear debt cause god doesn't want us to have debt. he has helped us immensely still a couple of years to go but we haven't borrowed or used a credit card now for anything for about 9 months. I cannot even remember HOW I stumbled across your podcast, what I do know is it was fully orchestrated by God!! Your testimony resonated with me, as I was let go from my job of 7 years at the beginning of the year. This loss had me questioning, where was I really putting my trust? Was it in money or God? But I wasn’t actually ready for that answer yet, and having a family to take care of, real fear set in. I found another career opportunity soon after, but as I am generating income it seems like the money is disappearing just as fast! After many conversations with God and my husband we have decided that God is calling me to be a stay at home mom, and purse writing (in some form). We have no idea how this is going to work, other than through prayer and obedience!! There are SO many signs we have encountered along our praying that we just KNOW God is showing us this vision is from him. One of those reassurances being stumbling across your podcast! We JUST purchased the book a few days ago and are looking forward to starting this journey to financial freedom!! Taking a step of faith, with a sound of praise. Looking forward to one day sharing our testimony with y’all, as our story unfolds!!

thanks for this video. its a breath of fresh air to be reminded about God's perspective about money. Just a reminder also that as we pursue our financial goals in life be deeply rooted in the word as the sin "love of money"could creep in and it is so subtle. Looking back, I would always justify myself like "God i believe you want me to grow in my finances. i know what im doing now is your will and use me for Your glory". Ive been spending too much time studying saving and investment than reading my bible and praying cause for someone who just learned the importance of saving and investing...the ways and the numbers are enticing...i got hooked...i could not sleep and numbers are always in my mind and always chasing on how to live frugally and increase my savings rate . There is no peace and i worry and fear more than i worried when my husband died cause i lost that peace in my heart that is founded in my relationship in Christ. I didnt realize that im serving money. not mention about making bad financial decisions. I felt disgusted about it and repented to God and right after that i have the peace back in my heart and He restored me and i trust God alone cause that all that is fleeting..and God has blessed me with wisdom and i honestly i learned more financial wisdom in the bible than reading books and articles about money. The word of God is preventing me from making bad financial decisions. sometimes we should not expect God to return the favor rightaway when we give. this is one the reasons why others doubt God (been through alot of this and God in His mercy and patience showed me how is it like to trust God even when He did not meet my expectations that very moment but knowing who God is in a deeper way made me trust Him no matter what)...truth is He does not owe us anything. If God's promise of giving doesnt happen in this lifetime...one thing is for sure, God will when we get to His kingdom...but ultimately for believers of Jesus Christ...we have received the ultimate gift, treasure and blessing and the rest are just bonuses...Being a good steward of all His blessings including time and money is a must...having said that God will be able to use us for His glory and we will respond generously with joy and excitement...

I've been a Christian for 30 years. I like to think that I am mature in Christ. I give my tithes, offering and a special seed, weekly. My positive cash flow is only enough 2 months at a time. My husband and I are both are part-time workers, with not a lot of positive income. I live in a beautiful neighborhood, house, and my car is 2019. This is call, Spiritual Wealth, Amen. By the way, my Ministry is at work. I work in a hospital.

Ancient storehouse was for the hungry, orphans, poor & widows. Managed by the Levites. No temple today but God is so merciful He left us the local food pantry. Which is todays storehouses. The tithe has always been of food from farmers and non farmers with food. Hence: he will send you a blessing that others will called you blessed. Tithe: bread, grape juice, and olive oil to your local food pantrys. Study the word TITHES & then the different kinds of tithes in Hebrew. Wow! See what happens! You will have no words to explain what happend! It's not the amount or perfection that our Father seeks. It's our OBEDIENCE with our hearts of joy & love (its verb "action") not a feeling that our Father sees. Its between you and our creator. Give in secret. Shalom!!!

The idea of money in the Bible is a interesting one. It often and almost always refers to the lender as the master and the borrower as the slave. The point of all the language around it is not that borrowing or having debt is bad. Having debt is a normal function of a society that thrives on financial expectations of yourself and others. Throughout time we have incorrectly viewed the banker or others as the one who is incorrect. If we viewed decision making as the area of focus then the others come into line. When all areas of cash flow are scene in our lives we can use God as guidance or we can with knowledge make good decisions. If you buy a house or a business the debt you take on is presumably a decision you made. If by that decision you have errors that occur and the lender has the ability to claim that property it is not their fault. It is yours since you made the initial decision to borrow. I understand there are a million concepts on were you deceived you didn’t have other knowledge the fine print etc.. but your choice and I always go back to choice is yours and yours alone. The lender does not have a hold on anyone it is the one who signs the note has the power. Now the real ability comes in after the note is signed. You have a choice on how to pay it off and hold that property as yours and or sell it to gain more value and take another note to increase your choices. Biblical concepts related to money do not talk as a whole but only concepts of understanding. Choice is the only true gift that was given from the very beginning of each story of the Bible to the very end. No where ever anywhere at anytime does God make you do anything. Thought and knowledge to make good financial decisions are not biblical. They are choices made by you as a person. If you need guidance than prayer is a tools used to help you provide strength to make choices. Reading the word can also give you thought but it does not give you knowledge on a 10 year note or 15 year note in a piece of land and what type of contract you should have. That is done by thinking and reviewing your options hence choice

👋🏾 One of the prosperity preachers favorite verse in the Bible is 3John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. Prosper in the Greek is Euodoō (G2137) compound of G2095=Eu, meaning good or well. And G3598 Hodos meaning “Way” or “road” Prosper is not our word prosper and not our word health. The word prosper is Euodoō , it’s constructed from Eu (well) and hodos (way). Put the word together it’s Euodoō in the original Greek Bible. Hodos is the common Greek word for “way”. It’s the same word Jesus used when he said, “I am the way” in John 14:6. And Eu means “well”. We see that on our word Eulogy. A eulogy is when you stand at a funeral and say well logos (words), well words over someone who died. Jesus said “I am the way (Hodos). He said there was a narrow Hodos (way) and a broad Hodos (way. So what John was wishing for gaius was the well way which is Christ. Also health is in the Greek “hugiano” meaning healthy words, uncorrupt words Prosperity preachers use that to say God is wishing for us to prosper and have money and physical health. It has nothing to do with money and physical health.

All very true scriptural teachings to live by...one thing I would add that isn’t mentioned is what is money. Is the paper dollar/currency Gods money or is it gold and silver. How many times in scripture does God mention gold and silver? Where does gold and silver come from? Is honest money made by man or God created? We all know the best food to nourish ourselves with comes from the ground, God created. Likewise God and silver comes from the ground, God created. With that said all principles you mentioned are true...cheerful giving, giving to Gods kingdom and his children. There is obviously much more on the subject and many more scriptures to reference concerning money however another one I would mention is “he who is faithful with little will be faithful with much, he who is not faithful with little will not be faithful with much.”......So it’s safe to assume if you’re not faithful with little how can God trust you with much? Great video though and sound biblical principals however make no mistake Gold and silver is Gods money, everything else other then that is fiat/currency/manipulated/dishonest/debt based notes. Spend CURRENCY/DOLLARS and save MONEY/GOLD AND SILVER.

I’m not sure exactly what your interpretation of Malachi 3:10 is because it seems like you skimmed over talking about it and spoke about it somewhat indirectly. But my interpretation of it, before I listened to your commentary was that the lord says to bring a tithe of your money into the store (As in not spending too much money or too little). And see what blessings will come from it.

I love this video and watch it often. I have such a poor view of money and success (I'm afraid of it) My mom single mom is always telling me how I'm not worth anything and how bad it is to have money and how horrible people with money are. I have the opportunity to make money and really help a lot of people but I've been held down by such limiting beliefs and her constant speaking of hate into my life. It's hard to move past.

Respectfully, your mom could not me more wrong. You are a child of God and created in His image and someone who God loved so much that Jesus died for you. There are good poor people and good rich people. There are bad ones of each too. There are a whole lot of very wealthy people in the Bible who were talked about very favorably (and plenty who weren't as well). The amount of money is not the issue, it is our hearts and what we do with it.
