All 5 problems that you have mentioned apart from ground clearance are useless

Altroz has 165 mm Ground Clearance I20 , Baleno has 170 mm The difference is 5mm If we convert 5mm into cm it's 0.5cm , i don't think it matters , as 0.5 cm is too small difference

You can take turbo engine or diesel engine(4 cylinder).........for pick up.

I bought Altroz too..even though it has initial lag, but I am extremely happy with its performance...4 months down and ~2k kms...a little problem in gear shifting while engaging first gear..but still..this car is awesome..in matter of ride quality, comfort and handling..safety is uncompromised...stable as hell in high speeds

5 star rated car ki faltu kamiyan batane se veiws nahi milte bro .....TATA LEGENEDARY THI HAI OR RAHEGI......TEEN KA DABBA TO NAHI HAI KAM SE KAM

This one is my first car. Earlier i used to drive maruti car but it's pick up is not upto the mark. Second problem when it's with full capacity seating, car's ac not work properly. Average is also low. Rest safety and comfortable 👍

Ive altroz petrol so far ive driven 25k in 2 years. Pros: 1. Safety 2.Steering feedback is one of the best in segment 3. Stability at high speed is outstanding ive driven it @155kmph never felt like car is going out of control instead the car engine gave up but the car design is ready to handle even 200kmph diseal engine of altroz reaches 190kmph. 4. Harman audio again one of the best in segment. 5. Regarding ground clearance i live in NCR the car has never touch from underneath in these 25,000 km not even a single time. 6. Ac is a chiller within mins cool down tge car even in 45c summer 7. Suspension is again outstanding it just glides over the potholes extremely comfortable for driver dont know about the rear never sat in rear seats, so no experience Cons: 1. Engine noise is evident. If its your 1st car go for it you won’t notice it. But if you’ve driven before it’s petrol engine runs like diesel in noise. 2. Initial pickup there is a lag once it crosses 20kmph no issues whatsoever Advice - Go for it its an amazing car if you don’t mind little noisy engine and intial lag If your run is more than 15k per year go for the diesel altroz its a 4 cylinder engine it has no intial lag

Everybody is Wondering about Ground Clearance of Tata Altroz but 1st check Maruti Suzuki Dzire Your doubt will be clear Bcz they Offer only 163mm. If your A piller will be thin then what will be the Difference between suzuki and Tata

मेरे पास भी एक साल से altroz है, 9000km चला चुका हूं l ये problem 1200 rpm से नीचे इंजन की स्पीड होने पर आती हैं l याने 2nd gear को लगाते वक्त इंजन rpm speed 1200 से कम हो तो torque कम पड़ता है l ये डिजाइन engineers की अयोग्यता है जो ट्रांसमिशन डिजाइन को Review नहीं कर रहे हैं l Transmission design को modify करना चाहिए l jaguar के model ki copy है, हो सकता है कि, India के लिए robust design के लिए गाड़ी का weight बड़ गया हो, जिसको 1200 rpm पर 2ND gear के लिए पूरी तरह सही टेस्ट नहीं किया है l ये employee, TATA का नाम डुबो देंगे I इस मामले मे मै भी गम्भीर असंतुष्ट हूँ l

Only problem i face in my Tiago is intial pick up... otherwise it is a good package...bas first gear me pickup acha hota toh ...it would have been simply perfect.

3 cylinder engine me unbalancing forces rahega to vibration aur noise bhi rahega, ground clearance 165 mm hai aur sedan aur hatchbacks ka aisa hi hota hai

ground clearance ke liye bade no ka tyer dalo engine ke pass R15 ka top 195 altroz me R16 rim install ho jate h baki back gear ke tym engine struggle krta h vo weight ki vjha see 5 star ese hi thodi h

rear glass ka gap itana hona hee chahiye bhai if proper design is considered. if you close that gap then there is a chance to break the glass with body twisting force.

been driving my Altroz xx iturbo for almost a year now, the only genuine problem i see is the issue with the panel gap, but that's all. try driving the iturbo with xp100 fuel, i bloody flies! on expressway, i was able to clock a top speed of over 165 kmph

Just change your state and you'll get best road and you didn't face ground cleareance issues road condition is also matter when you'll drive your any car

Reverse Gear mien jo avaj ati hai, vo engine Mount brackets k vajah se ata hai, jyada hi soft rubber hai unka. When chow, itna dikka to mere purane Wagon R LXI 20-8 model mien nahi hai abhi tak, or vo 2,24,000 + km chal chuki hai, abhi bhi use kar leta hu .

Own tiago, gearbox and engine refinement feels bad compared to when i ride friends i10. More effort required here. Feature wise its good comparing price. Ingress egress is difficult as door heavy

I bought tata altroz cng in July 2023 and face all this problems. Saare points valid hai. Iske alawa break ki bhi badi problem hai, meri gaadi me break lock ho jati hai kitni baar jab car aage piche karni ho toh break press ni hote. And gaadi band ho jaye toh break break lagti hi ni hai and tata isse safety feature batata hai apna.

Boss, tiago, punch,alttoz and Nexon petrol share the same 1.2 litre engine. Then all engine problem will be same in all the model vehicles right bro ?

Additional bumper is illegal, u can be fined for that .

Bhai sabse badi kami hai jiski wajah se meri family bahut gaali deti hai. Piche ki seats bahut uncomfortable hai. Recline hai nahi, thigh support bhi bahut kum hai. Piche baitha aadmi humesha relaxation chahta hai. Lekin long distance me relaxation to kum ulta thakan hoti hai. Baki sab baat me altroz best hai.

First change rear door handles..for old age person its very hard to open the door as it is near to window..

Almost every owners don't want to speak out their car about cons but every car has cons no matter what the car is costly or low budget cars. 5 star rating doesn't mean everything is perfect.. To be honest everything you have said is true, altroz is not for rural areas. Many people like altroz but after test drive they gaveup because of ground clearance.its not a race car so At least tata should give 170/175 mm ground clearance.

Engine should be more powerful with at least 4 cylinder in altroz. The car has more weight than a compact suv. Also they should increase the car height at least by 3 to 5 mm.

Top 3 problems according to me: 1. Ground clearance is not even 165 in reality. My car side body got completely crushed by a speed breaker on which my zen and aveo are going without a single hit in last 10 years 2. Finishing of inside doors has loosened and looks very bad 3. Seat gives a sudden jerk and a very irritating sound. Tata service center was not able to fix it at all
