I work out fasted all the time. It feels like crap and my performance sucks. But I can’t argue with the results, I dropped 50 lbs in 5 months….so! I especially like to do a long bike ride fasted.

Mate I’ve followed you and Dr Eric over the last few years and really went for it back in October and I’ve lost 25kg but also I’m now training, playing tennis again and feeling great. It’s all though down to wanting to do it and not giving up which is so hard. I even had a break for 2 weeks and in that time I walked so much but was able to eat and drink a bit and I still ended up losing 2kg. I wish everyone to do their best and that’s all you can do. Btw I’m 55

Reducing salt intake and elevating my treadmill by 2 inches with a piece of 2x4 raised my heart rate into the 130 to 140bpm range and has helped me break through a 2 week plateau. Now just reached 15% bodyfat and my next goal is to reach 10 to 12% range. I started a year ago at about 40 to 45% bodyfat at 215 pounds and 5"5. Now currently at 139 pounds with about another 10 pounds left to lose.

I mention the mechanistic production of taurine seems to rely on the lacking ocean "elemental entities" i had mentioned? Although I'm not sure of moles of what or exact pressure/fields around the vents where i assume some of the bonding takes place, part of the obvious clue is places like mussel shoals and the facts of taurine's many effects on plant growth even though very little is in them in today's regularly studied ecosystems. Oh, and, a bit off topic but, the flax oil from seeds does actually diffuse, but i believe blending after soaking is still the best bet. I'm wondering if soaking in a degassed environment is an option with that specific "void" blender.

Is this similar with acid reflux? It’s a theory I’ve suspected from experience and haven’t found anything yet! So you consume a well balanced diet right, lots of fruits, greens, proteins, but suffer from acid due to the macro ratio being off. Then go to high fat, low carb and acid is gone. Or vice versa. Eat plain white rice and low fat and cure the gerd. So then what is it that actually is bad for the gerd? I’d love to hear from you any research regarding clean keto and balancing PH and stomach acid. I’ve seen some stuff, so I know it’s a thing!

@@USA2Brazil I was referring to adding LMNT to the ACV. LMNT has a lot of salt in it with the electrolytes. That's what helps a lot with appetite. Maybe it wasn't clear what I said before, if so, my bad. I totally agree that the ACV alone doesn't help my appetite either. That added salt really helps and adding that LMNT is even better for wacking that appetite down.

What does it matter? Women don't have the self-discipline to follow a program anyways Women make less money as a whole than men do, but you make 80% of consumer purchases. You hold the majority of all credit debt If you had self-discipline and control, you wouldn't need to lose weight in the first place, would you? But if you would like to give it a shot, 20 carbs or less a day is literally all you need to know I lost 95 lb doing that. No exercise, just laid around watching TV Can you do that?

@Strength.And.Conditioning
@Strength.And.Conditioning 3 ай бұрын
@peterpan408 carbs along with protein after a workout boost muscle protein synthesis and replenish muscle glycogen stores. I already had a protein shake. I'm not trying to burn fat because I'm not fat I'm trying to maximize muscle growth and if you don't have some carbs after a workout it takes a long time for the body to have energy because gluconeogenisis takes time. Only fault was the butter and I won't do that again. I'm also not in a calorie deficit I'm at maintenance and I'm not a fanatic about how many calories I "burn" in the gym or if I eat something I need to go do cardio or workout to "get rid" of the calories I just ate. My diet is dialed in. The calories I put in my body are for maintenance and building muscle only

Lots of condescension going on here. The truth is socalled bro science is FAR more often right than not. This video clearly postures "bro" science as a pejorative or couched epithet, when the truth is if we waited for science to catch up to the 20 year advanced curve bodybuilders have been on for half a century we would all be left in the dark ages.

2:50 factually wrong. Otherwise fat people would lose fat always first, because they have it the most -- but they don't. Body likes to prioritize the fuel which is most dangerous to your body and it needs to get rid of it ASAP. Alcohol > Carbs > Fats > Muscle.

"Bro Science" is such a bullshit term for geeks in the gym who need to belong to something. It's an ego thing. I turn 60 this year and I've been training for 46 of those years. At no time did I ever call someone a "bro" or someone call me a "bro". Even my brothers do not call me "bro". I go in, no headphones, minimal conversations, and a stopwatch to time my rest between sets, and train. In and out in 45 minutes --- and that's with a pre and post workout stretch. The only pre-workout drink I have is a cup of tea. Fasting? I do it every day, I call it "between meals". This generation has taken the simplest of tasks of lifting heavy objects and putting them down, then repeating on a consistent basis, and turned it into a lot of BS. The same with dieting. In the '80s we used to say that if bodybuilders thought that dogshit would make them bigger, they'd eat it. But the "bros" back then had some common sense. Today', if the the "bros" were told they could build muscle while burning fat just by masturbating every morning before they even got out of bed, the hand towels and skin lotion at Dollar Tree would be flying off the shelves. I look back at what bodybuilders like Billy Ralph, Sig Klein, Clancy Ross, Steve Reeves, Leroy Colbert accomplished --- no "bro science" --- just hard work and a clean diet and realize you all, as the Who sang in "Substitute" complicated something simple. And people are making money off it.

Hi there. I respect your opinion and take criticism seriously. This is content appropriate. I’m discussing “bro science” and it’s essentially my “bro science” wardrobe. Please consider that I am human and these kinds of comments may also come across juvenile ❤️
