You count mosques only in Xinjiang. There are other mosques in other provinces (where other Chinese islamique poeple live historically in China, such as Beijing, Ningxia, Qinghai, Shaanxi, Yunnan, Fujian, Inner Mongolia, especially along the ancient maritime and continental silk road).

I am a Han Chinese living in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, China. I can tell you responsibly that my hometown is a diversified city that combines four major cultures: Han, Mongolian, Islamic, and Manchu. All shops and traffic signs on the street have Chinese and Mongolian bilingual labels. One of the four major administrative areas in our city is named after the Hui Muslims. There are not only mosques there, but also streets and squares in the Islamic architectural style. There is also an area with Lamaist temples and squares based on Manchu and Mongolian beliefs, which are the cultural center of the entire city.

@@francescani2432 You know I don't want to say something bad about Han Chinese people, in Western sources they deemed the Han Chinese as Karens of China they are so entitled specially in their language they always assume local minority people to speak and cater them in Mandarin while they are living in a minority's Autonomous territory. But I saw some vlogs in Nanning which is in Zhuang Autonomous Region of China the Han people there can speak Zhuang language!

I grew up in one of the minority provinces in China during Mao era. Minorities are not only treated equally, they receive preferrable treatment. I remember wishing I was a minority as a kid.

I grew up in a Muslim neighborhood in Tianjin, China, although I am not a Hui Muslim myself. Life is peaceful and we respect each other. I love Chinese Halal food. When I visited Lebanon earlier this year, my guide, a Shi'a gentleman, praised China for treating his Muslim brothers nicely. I said: they are not only your brothers and sisters, but also our own brothers and sisters. Speaking of the oppression of Muslims, this gentleman mentioned Lebanon's southern neighbor and the West.

不同于琉球地名被改成日文冲绳，海参威被俄罗斯改名。我们中国不给少数民族城市更改冠个汉语拼音的名字，仍然沿用他们古时候传下来的非汉语名字和拼写方式，这很明显的说明了我们汉族人中国人尊重少数民族。光看世界地图上城市的名字拼写方式就能看出哪些是殖民主义地区哪些是老实国家。

One of my friend who is a school teacher once asked me such question when he traveled to China and came back to the States. Why would so many different people who claim to be minorities and live so peacefully within Han Chinese. How is possible? I felt like Chinese people never really care about whoever being whatever minorities. They have been together ever since China was a nation. There were conflicts back then thousands of years ago. Now they are getting used to the diversity. I would say China is one of the oldest multi-cultural countries. btw I studied Chinese history in college and I am ethnical Chinese.

As a Hui Muslim Chinese, I never experienced any oppression by the government so I don't really understand where all this propaganda came from. When people know that I'm Muslim they're really curious about our beliefs and respect our dietary restrictions of eating Halal and it always makes me proud to share more information on our religion with them.

I was born and raised in a small city, the central region of china, and there is a mosque just a few steps to my home. I am from one of those 5 cities. This is a great video that shows how unique China is in many ways. To those people who think it's just a propaganda, I suggest you to visit China and see how you were wrong. As a minority I attended bilingual school since elementary school, and even when China has one-child policy back in many years ago, minority people were allowed to have more than one child. That is how Chinese Gov't treated minority people. So I guess that's why 56 different ethnical groups can live peacefully together.

I'm saying based on quran and hadith. In the Quran, Jesus is taken to heaven by God, but no record says mohammd is in heaven, not even the Quran. So if mohmad is in hell then all his followers also maybe end up in hell. There are 26 different arabic versions of quran( u can google it), which one is real?, means it's not word of God. Mohammd has disobeyed all commandments of God, which means he disobeyed God himself. Mohammd has killed, raped, did child marriage, married his sons wife, owned sex slaves and so on. Mohammd drastically died from poison by Jewish woman, a very normal human. Even God didn't warn him and mohammd can't predict his future. Mohammd can't predict his own future, how will he predict his followers future? Jesus predicted his death and resurrection, that happened. Jesus himself said he is the Son of God. Jesus said he will be next to his father in heaven. Jesus has done godly miracles like giving life to one month old dead body and many similar ones.

I am a Muslim from India.I am watching this video, don't know why I am so much happy.I am so much obsessed with China.Don't know why I love China so much naturally.I want to explore China from A to Z, all cities, all towns and all villages. But unfortunately 😔 hearing about Xinjiang Concentration Camps in which many Muslims are imprisoned breaks my heart, even sometimes I hear Christian Churches are broken by the China government. I want to urge my Uyghur Muslim brothers and sisters in Xinjiang, China to stop any separatism/ terrorist group support. Stop Separatism (if someone of you is supporting movements like East Turkestan Islamic Movement which is separatist group, don't know it exists or not).Stop asking freedom of Xinjiang ( which you call East Turkestan). Be proud Chinese citizens and I know China will be the best country for Muslims if Muslims remain loyal to China. Separatism has destroyed Kashmir and so will destroy you.Also for the Chinese people ( Most of whom are atheists, Communists, Buddhists, etc.) to stop seeing all Muslims with doubt. In fact majority Muslims don't support those separatist / terror groups. Immediately Stop persecution of innocent Muslims and Christians or any other community ( even if they are atheists) in China. I have been to this Sip Song Bana, very peace full and fun, the taxi drive was very polite and good. The hotel, the street was very safe for me to walk. The food was very good. I have a chance to meet many of Chinese minorities people there doing their living. I miss it

I am a Chinese ethnic minority, and the Chinese government has never stopped us from any legitimate religious ideas. Moreover, there are various favorable policies for ethnic minorities, especially Tibetans and Uyghurs. I envy them for being able to easily enter universities and obtain job opportunities in national institutions.
