Thanks for the tip on over choreographed action. I literally just wrote a scene like this when my fantasy character pretending to be a human has to find items at a food bank. It helped a lot!

Thanks for showing how to improve my writing. I didn’t start reading till late in life. I personally don’t expect the first Chapter to live or die. Readers or Readers. Netflix/Amazon doesn’t steal true reader. In fact the person who’s dumps a book at beginning is the one missing out. The 23 Publishing company that passed Harry Potter, felt that way to. Look what happen. I like to think readers have little more faith, not their for instant thrill
