Go for a ride with Pat that may be the worst ride he has ever been on as he has multiple issues with his bike. Pat goes over step by step how to fix a tire puncture, rolled tire, a dropped chain, a broken chain and a twisted set of handlebars.

Should have smashed in the exposed nail on the wooden path/bridge to prevent other riders from getting tire punctures. Great video tutorial! Keep up the great content.

I used to carry a spare tire. Now I have Cushcore in, I carry bacon only. Can't imagine swapping Cushcore for tube on the Singletrack. Perhaps, one could ride with flats and Cushcore back to the car. Haven't tried that yet; hope, I never will. Great video! 👍🚵

I have had to ride out on the cush core Pro set up and it honestly worked well enough to get out a few miles. - Pat

@@squatchbikes good to know. I installed the Pro by hand only. Well, it was challenging, but worth it. Bike did quite down and riding is so plush. Absolutely love it! Thanks!

Super Helpful! If you just burped a tubeless tire (no puncture), I assume you could also just re-seat the tire and inflate it instead on installing a tube?

That is correct! A CO2 would be the right choice for the job. - Pat

love for ya guys to do something on bear..(and squatch)protection..i had a run in at bent creek yesterday while i was adjusting suspension that was way too close with an aggressive bear..luv to hear some input

Great video. Quick question… you had a CushCore valve stem but no insert? And what would you do differently if you had a puncture with CushCore? (I know I wouldn’t be able to pull the insert out without a couple tire levers….and even then it would be a challenge on the trail.)

I usually run XC cush core in this bike and it comes out fairly easily. We will definitely be doing a full cush core install and removal video that has both styles involved. You will only need one lever! But to answer your question the plug process is exactly the same with insert, no difference. In the full burp situation (very rare with an insert) you can almost always just re-inflate due to the "bead locking" tendencies that the cush core system gives. If that is not working you can wrap it around you like a very stylish sash and put a tube in and roll out. -Pat
