Lmfao how does it feel being the ONLY species on earth. . that has to pay for permission to live???. . and maintain the division of your own species by constantly fighting over money???

You forgot another way, but it involves going home every now and then. I used to do it before I got into software and started working remote. You can have a seasonal job in your home country that pays really good, work less than half of the year, and spend the rest of the time in Thailand. When I did it, I made around $10,000 per month driving a truck in the US. Some people make a lot more than that. But the beauty is, you can live in the truck. If you do that for 3 months, you will be able to spend another 3 months in Thailand, and still save money.

I'm planning on doing this as a truck driver, I make a lot of money but absolutely hate it but I can tolerate in short stints. If you're in the trades, you can work 6 months and travel the rest if you go to a country or region with a lower cost of living. If I need money I'll simply comeback and go trucking for 6 months then leave again. Thankfully, there's such a massive shortage in a lot of these trades that you can job hop without consequence because these companies need people so badly!
@RealPolitik-dy4it
@RealPolitik-dy4it 9 ай бұрын
@@jacksonwhittier3646 I wouldn’t recommend a 6-month stint at a time. 4 months max. Believe it or not, it is much less mentally taxing than doing the standard 11 days out/3 days home schedule. Because when you are doing a 3 or 4 month stint out on the road, knowing that you will have 4-6 months off after that, you have that to look forward to. Not only does it increase your mood, but it also helps you work harder and run more miles. You get less tired as well. As far as companies go, believe it or not, many would prefer that. Because their truck only makes money when the wheels are turning. So if you go to a trucking company and tell them, “I’m gonna roll nonstop for the next 3-4 months”, from their perspective, they would know that that truck will be making money nonstop for that amount of time. I would recommend small-medium carriers for that kind of work though. Stay away from the mega carriers.

Very interesting video. I had a friend working in Singapore teaching English (for an international school) He asked me about the possibility of going over there after I finished my degree, if I could get a position teaching maths. It was one option I was considering after getting my life straight over here in the UK, but then, the SUPERBUG came, and turned everything upside down. He lost his job and is now back, working in the UK, living here with his wife and daughter ( he got married when he was out there). He said he was very well paid for the school job. I'll share this with him actually, might give him some ideas about how to eventually get back to the place he loved.

The simplest and quickest (but not necessarily easy) way to start earning an income online for most people, in my opinion, is to start writing blog posts for other companies in an area where you have expertise or interest. It won't make you rich, but it'll give you a start, and probably enough to live in Thailand. You can then use that as a springboard to skill up in your free time, and move on to more lucrative things. I've done this myself thanks to people like Brett and others that have been talking about this model for quite a few years now. Hope that helps.

A Thai only job, unless you have a very specific skill, sushi chef etc. Even then someone has to offer you a job and usually Thai wages

Some of the big 5 star hotels will hire international chefs but you’ll need to be top level and experienced.

Well I enjoy Thai fried rice. If you could find some ways to produce and preserve instant Thai fried rice during long distance transport , that might bring an exorbitant amount of $$$$$$$$$$$ . Healthier than instant noodles, and more tasty, and more hunger-resistant. 😅😅😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

It requires having some capital, but options trading online works as a sustainable way of generating monthly income. There is an edge, unlike currency trading or day trading. Also, there is a learning curve of course and options trading would not suit every temperament.
