I have the keyboard editor, but this works even with out this keyboard, when I'm trimming and doing my in & out editing, I change the P to append at end and U to place on top, since those are 2 I use the most.

I set the | key to always take me back to frame 1 on the timeline. Can’t live without it now.

Nice video .... I have this questions see if this is possible in Da Vinci resolve. suppose I want to adjust duration of clip but not want to lose content. instead i want speed to increase. basically when I adjust slider to shorten clip length i want speed of clip to increase but content to stay as it is.

Excellent, do you know if it is possible to create proxies for a fusion or adjusment clip? since sometimes there are a lot of information, graphics and videos inside them, but then my pc can't play them

You can search for "Switch to page" in the keyboard customization panel and set binds to swap between the two :)

I've got a few videos on the channel talking about how I set up my lighting. One of them is "You need to know these lighting techniques as a filmmaker" and the other one is"Why softbox size matters for filmmaking". Those should give you a pretty good idea of my approach 🙂

Wait, are you sure resolve decodes clips on lower layer ?

From what I've noticed I believe it does. I'm not 100% sure, maybe it's just placebo but I definitely feel like things run smoother if I disable clips on lower layers 😅

@@Man_gosHey bro I can also share mine if you'd like. It is originally from Sam Kolder which is included in his Davinci Resolve Course. I just made a ton of my own adjustments and changes and it's pretty neat. I really like it, even though I always keep adding to it, like from this video right here, already added a couple new shortcuts.

Is anyone else experiencing lag and slow playback in Da Vinci recently? I have a maxed out m1 max and regular 4k video so...

It could be an issue with the codec your footage was recorded with, or stuff like color grades, plugins and so on can also impact performance. Hard to say what it is exactly unfortunately 😕

@@georgekamenov_ ⁠thanks for reply, but ive been doing everything the same for a long time (color, codec and all-wise) and the issue has only now manifested itself. Got plenty of storage free etc. Gotta keep researching.
