Just SHIFT +DELETE for ripple cut.

Moves it closer to the other keys I use for editing if I rebind it to 4. It's more comfortable having everything available to use with just one hand.

I like how you actively made "clipping a mic to your shirt" into a 72-step process that made it somehow appear to be some absolutely daunting task 😂😂
@georgekamenov_Күн бұрын
Not 72 but just enough to not be worth it for a quick KZfaq video that people will watch for completely different reasons than where my mic is placed 😅
@livinginoklahomacityofficialКүн бұрын
@georgekamenov_ that's reasonable. The problem with most creators who do the whole "holding a mic designed to be positioned in static position on clothing" thing, is that 1. They rarely hold it in a static place like you did in this video, but rather they tend to wildly gesticulate which makes the signal/volume all over the place, or 2. They hold it WAY too close to their mouths causing peaking, or at the very least significantly degrading the audio quality. And yes, it makes people look clueless lol.

I'm pretty sure most of these platforms have a rule where if you make a video while the subscription is active, that video is cleared forever

my speed editor arrived yesterday. currently make videos as hobby but have worked as videographer before. everything you say is true. I love it, it frustrates me learning is slow but worth it. can we use speed editor outside resolve studio? assume we can not
@georgekamenov_2 күн бұрын
It's a Resolve only panel so you can't use it outside of that. Hope you like it once you get used to it. Been using mine ever since I got it and I love the workflow now even though it was pretty slow back when I was still learning how to use it 😁

I have a question... do you find it strange that when you go to the editing tab, it puts the audio and video in reverse order? It messes with my brain SO much. I do not know why they would mirror image that. Or even just why the videos are listed in reverse order.
@georgekamenov_8 күн бұрын
Not sure what you mean exactly. If you mean the way it sorts them in the media pool, you can just pick how you sort them. But otherwise, I haven't noticed it doing anything out of the ordinary 😅

Great video George! I'm curious how you graded the talking head portions of this video. Is it just converted to rec709 or did you use dehancer for that as well? Thanks for the help!
@georgekamenov_9 күн бұрын
Didn't use dehancer for the talking head. Though I do have a video exactly about how I grade my KZfaq videos. Honestly pretty simple: just convert to Rec709 with Phantom LUTs and then bring down exposure a touch and slightly adjust skin tone to make it look right 🙂

Just bought them..Do you have a chart showing which colors correspond to specific IRE levels ? Thanks for a good product :)
@georgekamenov_12 күн бұрын
Thanks, appreciate the support! These were based on the chart for the Sony Venice false colors so you can use that one as a reference. Though mine don't have absolutely all of the same colors as I didn't really personally need them when making these. But it still has the main ones for underexposed or overexposed areas, pre-clipping and skin tones.

Hi George, As a long time experienced producer/editor just want to say thanks for the work you are doing. Disregard the "Chat bot" comments and keep doing what you do. At best we are all learning from each other. At worst, we are turning into critical chat bots that do nothing positive for any of us. In Peace, Bob
