hi liking the video - good job! thinking of going there this year but bit concerned that it's isolated and you don't really get a chance to explore any of the other islands? Is the only way on/off silhouette island the hilton boat? would you recommend staying there?

Hey Rishi! If you're thinking about the Labriz and you're wanting to really explore the other islands, this one might not be for you just because the main focus would be Silhouette Island and there are no direct ferry lines from here to anywhere else other than back to Mahé. I loved the resort although like my next video on Northolme, you realize how much bigger of a property Labriz is and more family friendly it is. I loved the hiking you can do on the island but the resort did seem busier.

Hello my friend! We watched your seychelles videos, i think it is best one in the KZfaq. We will be in labrize hotel at 20 march let me ask you that, is there any other way to hilton’s ferry transfer for example can we find any other cheap ferry transfer mahe to Silhouette Island. Also how much money you payed for the transfer? Thank you wery much for your replay☺️

It really is the only way to the island so you're stuck with the ferry from Hilton which costs 145 EUR for adults. The only other thing I can think of is that there's a small lodge on the island as well and they must have their own ferry. I'm just not sure if you can take their ferry if you're not staying with them.

Did any part of the presidential suite beach have a sandy bottom, or was it all rocky?

It was sandy with the iconic round boulders. I don’t remember too many (if at all) jagged rocks. There’s a ton of soft sand and right by the edge of the crashing waves some section might have some rock but it’s not all the way through.

Would you guys recommend Labriz or Northolome more? We don’t have any kids

I'd say between the two if you're looking for something that's quiet, secluded and more for adults, I'd go for the Northolme. It's a much smaller resort and you don't have the benefits of being on Silhouette Island but we loved that the Northolme was smaller and more intimate.

Going to the Seychelles (Mahe) in December...did you see any big spiders? I'm terribly afraid of them:D

We didn't see any big spiders at all during our time in Mahe or Silhouette Island! :)

hi and thanks for the amazing video. I have a few questions concerning the extra costs of the visit. you mentioned that the ferry cost another 150 just to get there. How much would you say that a couple should estimate to spend in 5 days on top of the hotel cost if they book the breakfast-dinner package . Does it include all the restaurants for diner on the island? Thanks again

It certainly helped us to have Hilton Gold status because that meant our breakfast was included. If this helps at all for our 5 night stay at Labriz, we spent 24,464 SCR. We didn’t pay for any full-board or half-board packages

I live in Seychelles for over 5 years now and nobody ever asked me if i have yellow fever vaccination. Otherwise i am from Europe. So maybe they check it if you are coming from other countries and not from Europe.

Yes exactly, it has to do with whether you’re coming from a country that supposedly has yellow fever and Ethiopia is one of them.

@@GoingAwesomePlaces Did you stay in Ethiopia or just transit? I flew few times with Ethiopian but this was in 2015 and 2016. Maybe they have changed the rules?
