Sounds like someone else we know. If these was word for word from Bruce Lee I would be surprised. Perhaps it's Bruce Lee that got it from musashi. I've been this way from age 13. When the time came to be as calm and ready come in need. My mother was choking on some food. My mind was automatic ready to receive action. My mother worked in the hospital field for 40 years plus. She knew it was happening. I said "when you're ready. I know what to do." She stood up. It only took two tries. The first was me trying to be gentle but enough of what I thought would work without doing "damage". My calm mind knew what it would take too. The next try was going to work. It did because I added the technique with a added bonus. With a safe strength but full speed it was what my mother called "textbook perfect". Even the teachings can save a life.
