THIS VIDEO IS PART TWO TO LAST WEEK’S VIDEO. As someone who regularly plays with her style, the change in season is a great time to re-evaluate and reset my wardrobe. We don’t have the same variety of seasons here in Australia as you in the northern hemisphere might, so I usually do this twice a year, once approaching winter, and once approaching summer. Today I prepare my wardrobe for the cool season. I evaluate individual items. Do I like them? Do they fit? Can I change them? I also look at outfits. Are there items that work well together? Are their pieces missing that could complete outfits? I declutter items from the warm season, and those from the previous cool season. Based on all this I make a plan. Which outfits am I excited about? Which outfits are missing something? What will I buy in the future? When you said "kimonos", the way you said it with the accent on the first syllable, at first I thought you said "chemo nose" 😂 but then I soon realized what you did say 😅. I guess I haven't yet recovered from mine. Gary is a busy little guy ..... I love watching him wash up. Also love the beach scenes with the cute little seagulls. The water rolling in is soooo relaxing. The organic cotton looks so soft and comfortable. Thank you! ❤

Linen doesn`t last long but is best to wear in very warm climate. What else we could wear apart from linen? Viscose ? Cotton seems to heavy. Or maybe linen mixed with cotton ?

I recommend making them! There are lots of spaced out steps so it can take 2-3 days, but overall it’s a simple process. 💙

I am also debating the longevity of some linen pants. They’re really new, I just got them in Japan last month, but I am wondering about how ratty they will look after a full summer, especially in Australia. Still, you can’t know these things until you see how they go for you personally. And then if they don’t work out, when I see people looking amazing in linen pants, I can say “but not for me” instead of wanting them.

Yes he is, as in he doesn’t roam, but I also always have a courtyard or a balcony so he can enjoy some sun and fresh air. I would get an older cat that is naturally less active. He already came to me with little desire for exploration and games 😂🥲

I am trying linen for the first time this year so I find it interesting you are not a fan. So far I have found that some of it seems more scratchy than others. Since it is all new this summer I haven’t experienced how it ages. I do like the breathability along with the sun protection. Is your new outfit all cotton?

If you get washable linen, it gets softer. It tends to look like a mess, but also depends on the person’s features how good it looks. The sun protection is great, so tend to only wear it on vacation.

Not all linens are the same, but I understand not loving the way it feels on the skin or the wrinkled aesthetic. It does get softer as you continue to launder it, at least in my experience. The tops I have are oversized so I can't speak for it holding shape. I do have a linen pant that I adore but I need to take them up. I'm also not out here buying the highest quality linens either, so that may impact my experience. Those OB items are so cute! I'm not a fan of Delta Galil (Parent company) unfortunately.

I have linen sheets. They are organic linen from west elm. Over time it does get very soft. If you like loose fitting breathable clothing (like me) linen is the go to. It’s not for everyone though.
