How change yarn colors

Thanks Hannah. I hope you are feeling better. I've been knitting a simple blanket off and on (in between other projects) in garter stitch and I've knitted continuous columns of squares, changing colour on the needles. Now that I have sewen the strips together, I'd quite like to hide the unsightly colour changes you see on the reverse, and was wondering if you have any ideas for this? The only one I have is to crochet or stitch on a chain across the purl dashes on the reverse. Trouble is, all this effort draws attention to it and makes it look like the right side! Are there any other ways, maybe of overstitching on the joins somehow? Many thanks for all your helpful videos, Julia

The only options might be to sew a large piece of fleece to the back, as a quilter would do, or knit a plain piece to cover the same size and sew them together. To be honest I quite like seeing both sides and as you say attempting to hide seams and colour changes can bring them more to light. Happy knitting 🧶

Do you want to unpick one stitch at a time, or knit backwards, as some knitters might on circular needles? I have an unpicking video, but not backwards knitting.

Your poor finger😢🤍 EBay isn’t as cheap for yarn anymore. You should do a video on what to make with icords. I was bored on a long journey and I did lots of them with scrap yarn. I have used some as ties on bonnets but stuck for the rest.

No eBay isn't the place for your anymore, such a shame! I think I might have done a video like that in the French knitting playlist as french knitting is just the same as cords.. Happy knitting🧶
