Love your channel ladies! I’ve been binging it! Some day would you be willing to make a video on how to move in a dress? I think dresses are so cute but always worry about how to move around, pick things up, etc. without flashing people my underwater. I feel like I need a tutorial on how to “live” in a dress.

Perfect (as always)! Dresses are my absolute favorite for spring and summer, so I loved everything about this video. They are often much cooler and more comfortable than shorts, crops, etc., and what I call “one and done.” Your choices were spot on and you looked fabulous in everything, especially the wrap dresses! Loved this video! Dresses and skirts are my staple go to for work during the summer months. Such a no brainer outfit to put together in a hurry to get to the office! I have been looking at dresses all over the internet. I’ve found some I like. I haven’t purchased any yet. But I will. I usually wear jeans and shorts all summer. But I would like to up my game. Saw this in my news app. Thought I was going to see 5 dresses, not all 5 types of dresses, but very informative. I saw a horizontal stripe dress I would never be able to wear. Very few body types can pull that off. If you have a bigger waiste or are very curvy, a dress like that just emphasizes everything.

One great wrap dress can cover all these occassions. DVF silk wrap is an investment, but worth it for sure. I’ve used mine for over 10 years and still love it. Check out Vestiaire etc for very affordable secondhand pieces. A black dress btw flatters very few, for most it’s too harsh and even though it may cover ”areas of insecurities” it just accentuates lines, wrinkles and discoloration. I’ve kept one, but only so that I can wear it to funerals.

Absolutely agree on the DVF wrap dress. They are so timeless and beautiful. Black can be harsh with my light coloring but I find that wearing it with a bright lip can help but yes, it's important to have one on hand for unexpected occasions.

Agreed. I found black dress is harsh on my skin tone. Navy blue and grey dresses are a lot softer and nicer on me.

What shoes do you recommend when you suggest heels or wedges? I have ten screws and three plates in my ankle. These shoes are out of the question.

If block heels or wedges are not an option then choose a comfortable sandal, something strappy and pretty if possible. Comfort is always the most important.

Try a petite sized one. I am 5'2" with a short torso & I have a ton of wrap dresses. I really like the ones with a ruffle or ruching on the front, it helps hide the tummy.

@@aileenspinney7619 Understood. Try a more traditional/conservative brand. Mine from Lauren Ralph Lauren/Chaps/American Living all run long, they are between 39-41" from shoulder to hemline. Hope this helps.

The difference between seeing a picture of the dress vs a video of the dress being worn helps. What are the reasons you don't show video?

It depends on the video we are creating. This was not a haul of new items. It was just for ideas & inspiration for the styles of dresses you may want to own. Many of these images are older ones or from the store websites. We don’t have videos of all of these dresses. In order to create as much content as we do we have to vary the style of videos.

You have forgote n than most women over 40 suffer of their arms: soft skin , saggy skin, cellulite and their the list go on., wearing sttrappy dresses OMG. GET real, I don't want to be rude, but both of U paraded big mistakes. Next time think better .perhaps U shouldn't be given advices. From my lovely heart by,by. L&L😀😘🥵
