Midori is a Japanese Green Melon liqueur that has been around a VERY long time. I certainly remember using it some 15+ years ago. I wouldn't say it's massively popular now, even to a certain extent, it's actually not that well known considering its age. but it's tasty and makes very easy Midori mixes.
