You have what I call an eccentric personality. I’m the same way, and I love ! I chuckle at all your weird comments and noises and know that some people just don’t get it. But I do. I’ve been watching you for a couple weeks now and by doing so, has forced me to start thinking outside the box more. And I surprise myself, when I get to the finished product, I really think it’s kinda cool. But at the same time, scary. I’m concrete sequential not abstract random so it’s been a journey. Anyway, I love your creativity and openness. Thank you for making a simple girl smile during her day.

I love stamps! I used a brown paper envelope strip, stuck 0ld stamps on it the way you did the edge of the page, and made a belly band. I put some old postcards under it from the 1940'sv that I got at and estate sale. LOVED it. I love the other ways you used them. Thanks for always making us look at things differently.

I have a large stash of postage stamps from childhood, and I am thinking of scanning them in a transparent folder for copying. These folders have a hinge on one edge that helps keep things in place while moving them from desk to scanner. By not fixing the stamps to paper, I can arrange groups by color or arrange them by theme. I did one experiment laying the transparent folder over a piece of graph paper to help with alignment and leaving enough space for cutting with a perforation scissor. Scanning them in different arrangements has worked, and printing them on white paper gives me that liTtle edge of white if I want it, if they are not affixed to anything, my understanding growing up was that a legible cancellation mark made stamps more valuable, but I am not sure how true that is.

Hello Pam, so wonderful to see and hear you, as always. Yeah, I have oldish postage stamps, probably not from another country, but that's okay. I have in the past, bought a couple of different stamp set sheets - one of Marilyn Monroe and one of James Dean. So far I'm keeping those as collectables, not like anyone would buy for collector price. Anyway thank you and your Facebook group friends for these awesome ideas. I pray that you are doing well. Take care and God bless you and yours. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas

So many responses in my head to this Very Fun Video!!! 😁 First, I LOVE your own journal! We only got a glimpse of it, and it's so wonderful!! I'd love to see more of it! Do you have a video where you made it? Or a flip-through of all those fantastic papers? When you talk about using makeup: some people actually want their junk journals to last, so makeup won't benefit them, because all the oils that are used to make it stick to your face mean that a) the colors will fade, and b) it will eventually kind of eat through your paper. In junk journaling, that's actually a pretty cool effect. I mostly say this on Bible journaling videos when people talk about using makeup, because so many Bible journalers fully intend to hand those Bibles down to their kids or grandkids. Okay, more later. 😉 This is one of my favorite videos you've ever made. ❤ (....and why CAN'T cute little doggies just eat the drawer??)

I know this was filmed almost a year ago, but I thought I would drop a 'note" in here. I bought some markers/pens at the Dollar Tree that I believe are similar to the Gelato's you are using. They are called "Chalk Writer" by Craft Decor. I don't have Gelato's, seen these and thought I would give them a try, and I really like them a lot. I have them in Gold, Silver, Purple, Blue, Green, and Pink. They are NOT like chalk but are creamy and spreadable like the Gelatos. I just thought I would throw that out there (for anyone who might be interested) and they won't rub off once they're dry.
