One of the biggest mistakes most people make is only focusing on the joint that is painful. Instead, focusing on the joints above and below can make a big difference in pain levels and resiliency.
These 5 exercises include a variety of ways to strengthen important muscles that support the knee and hip joints including quadriceps, hamstrings, and glutes! Exercises include: hip hinges, wall sit with a ball squeeze, lateral steps, modified lunge and a power swing.

Thanks for the excorsises, im early 60's and strained/injured my knee, prayerfully these will help strengthen the muscles, i also have disc probs so pain is pretty much daily...

THE dynamic duo of PT! LOVE the content that both of you provide individually, but combined together, it's fantastic. Your styles compliment one another. Any hacks to make wall slides smooth? My back usually "sticks". Tysm.

Thank you i still have fear of upstairs in my building when i get home my arthritis knee is getting stronger i walk about 3 blocks a day but i fear those stairs i don't want to fall backwards again thank you Alyssa because i don't want knee surgery i feel the difference in 3 months my knee is stronger but its makes the knee noise i hope nothing breaks

Both of you are terrific. Glad to see you working together. Love your content. How do squats fit in? I have had great success using split squats to eliminate, at times, pretty bad knee pain. I can even play basketball at full speed without pain. I also do some air squats and wall squats, but the split squats have helped the most and quickly.

do what you can when you can, every little thing will help. I have injuries and pain all the time. Some days, i cant do anything, and thats OK. One day at a time and eventually you will see improvement.

In the section of the pink shirt teacher using the step, her back foot is at a 45 degree angle. Is this angle required? I thought it might be a mistake in presentation bc all exercise so far have forward pointing in both feet.

Hello and thank you for all these information that you have shared so far!! My problem is because if my weight and excess walking , I have pain on the side of my sole shooting toward my ankle bone ….. it could be planter fasciitis!!! Any solution that you could suggest???
