Matty Harris is a music producer, mixing and mastering engineer from Boston. As a young musician, he won several awards, most notably, the best drummer in New England. He toured with jazz, blues and calypso bands, playing bars and clubs at the young age of 14. After High School, he attended Berklee College of Music where he studied Music Production and Engineering. Learning from some of the most accomplished producers and engineers in the industry. Since then, he has worked on countless records with such artist as; Atlantic Records, RCA Records, WB Records, Kelly Clarkson, Sammy Adams, A$AP Rocky, Logic, Lil Yachty, Cam Meekins, Just Juice, Action Bronson, Danny Brown, Fat Joe, Styles P, La Coka Nostra, and many more. He worked on the Grammy Award-winning song “Stronger” by Kelly Clarkson and won the 2008 Boston Music Award for Best Hip-Hop/R&B Producer. He now lives in Los Angeles where he works with artists from all over the world helping them to realize their dreams.
Matty started his online mixing and mastering company, mixandmastermysong.com, with the vision of helping new artists get the same quality mixes and masters as the major label artists he works with. After realizing the advancements of technology, he knew it was time to launch his online mixing and mastering company when he no longer needed the effects of a “big room” studio to achieve high-end mixing and mastering.

Thank u for all u did. Sir. I have one question who is not for this topic. I look on the internet to find some explication for 'how can create that "the weeknd" style voice, means like that sound "amp and super clean sound" i try amp in parallel or orther stuff but i can find right way to make that sound. Is like now on modern music a lot, U know what im talk in about. So if u can explain to me, or... do a video with this topic sometimes will be so grate. Thank u again

What’s up Matty just grabbed a stream deck a few days ago . Do you know of any scripts to actually move track into folders in a set template made already . Much appreciated. Great video by the way

You mean from S1 back to PT? Yes. I was having stability problems in S1. I work to much to have those kinds of issues.

Just learned that this a thing. Do you need stream deck as well? Can I just get sound flow, and off to the races?

No you don't. You can use it with your phone or a tablet. Even just have it on your screen.

I appreciate you getting back to me. Thanks for posting this video! I only became aware that Soundflow was “a thing “ a couple days ago. I still struggle with working in Logic sometimes, have always been more of a performer. It’s a lot to learn!

What stream deck do you have?

The Stream Deck Matty has is the regular 5x3 (15 button) Stream Deck: www.elgato.com/en/gaming/stream-deck It's fairly cheap. It's nice to have 1-2 regular Stream Decks, as it allows you to have one that never changes (that you can use to control the lighting in your studio, open apps, etc.) and then one that changes automatically depending on which app you're working in.

watching this makes me appreciate studio one and Cubase so much more. Simple things like the ability to just copy entire chains between tracks and not have to program macros in a 3rd party software, like COPY/PASTE data seems so common sense, yet it's not common sense in Pro Tools. I think Pro Tools is easy on the eyes and sounds great and has some really smart features, but little things like this always make it a bit of a chore to use.

I added a script to toggle the ADPTR Metric A/B switch with a single button. It's in the Soundflow store.

Does it work for you? I installed it, but the track where the Metric A/B is placed must be selected for it to toggle the A/B button. Haven't found a way to solve this :/

@@HeyTom__ If using the “Dreamcatcher ADPTR Metric A/B Toggle Switch” in the Apps & Store, the track in which you have this plugin needs to be named “MASTER”. You can customize the script to change that.
