When you come up with ideas, how do you keep yourself from overcomplicating things and muddying up the sound? All of your patches are so perfectly simple and clean, I have trouble not modulating everything haha.

Keep up publishing great content. Although I've been producing for a long time, I recently decided to dive into modular synthesis. I've started with CardinalSynth which is similar to VCV rack and your videos made a lot of things make sense all of a sudden. Making generative pads and ambient sequences for example, is now something I can do without having my ears bleeding. :D

I love the Nutrinode, but i feel like a lot of people sleep of a very similar mod by Sha#BANG that works similarly, just with gravity instead. Lets you use + and - X/Y data as well as Velocity and average outputs for TONS of different modulation options

To maybe add to the bit around 1:53 - one can build whole crazy chains of slow sines modulating not quite so slow sines modulating the faster ones that do something. Or even more in between! ;)

Woaw !!! this is really impressive thanks!! :) I'm looking for a way to "drive" the randomness of the generative synth (Part 2 of your vid :) ) I'would like to give VCV rack orders (in MIDI from Ableton). Orders of scales mostly.....(I would like to keep all of the randomness of the patches, but i'd like it in scale with my ableton project....) Is there any way to do that? (I think I have to make a track in ableton with bridge VST/ random/arpegiator and a scale plug.... but i can't find a way to give these midi's orders to vcv rack ) Anyone? :)
@OmriCohen-Music3 жыл бұрын
I'm not so sure I understand... Do you want to send Midi from Ableton into VCV?
@reguerre3 жыл бұрын
@@OmriCohen-Music A simple way to say things could be "I would like ableton to be my dedicated sequencer and not neutrinode...." (this way I could "constrain" the randomness of the patches with ableton MIDI tools....) I hope I'm understandable :/ (sorry for the bad english and thanks so much for your answer :) )
@OmriCohen-Music3 жыл бұрын
@@reguerre Oh ok, I see. Well, you can send Midi with the Bridge VST and sequence things in VCV with Ableton. It's not the most fun way though. I would suggest waiting for the VST version, it will be much easier then...
@reguerre3 жыл бұрын
@@OmriCohen-Music Thank you so much dude! But Indeed,the VST 's going to be really easier..... let's wait and see :)
