I replaced the Gerber Icon Tanto, with the Prodigy when I lost it. Then picked up the Degree and Prodigy. Mostly carry the Prodigy which is an Beast.

You forgot the Gerber Emerson Alliance. 154 cm blade, rocket fast side opening automatic and a strong lock . Plus, the handle is heavy as hell so you can use it as an impact weapon if needed.

The only Gerber knife I really like is the ultralight LST. I do have a prodigy mounted to my minibike for utility use while I'm out trail hopping plinking and exploring.

So I've been wanting to get a strongarm, but I do have a prodigy that I've had for just around a year now, and that thing is the perfect belt knife. My one complaint is that it is a bit hard to sharpen, but it will still slice through chicken out in the field without being hair popping sharp.

I have a gerber I got from Walmart forever ago it’s been through hell it’s a flipper knife that deploys every time and it has the crossbar lock but it’s got tension behind it

its not on the list. but i have a gerber ayako and I love useing it. its very light and easy to carry around all day. i just wish it was a little easier to open. its quite stiff.

I keep trying different items from Gerber that aren't a simple fixed blade, and I keep being disappointed at best >.< The FIXED blade knives have held up great, the folders I've tried not so much. They never make it to their first birthday 😢

I have to say though I have no problem with these particular knives that I prefer The Prodigy because the non-serrated or the plainedge only model was designed as a Walmart exclusive and you could pick them up around 50 whereas the strong-arm was intended to self 450 but it was always been priced at 60 and $70 and the price on that has jumped up but then again In fairness prices on everything has gone up. Unfortunately Gerber is using softer Metals in their newer models

The Gerber Strong Arm is a bombproof knife. If I had to recommend just one fixed blade, or if I could only use one fixed blade for the rest of my life, It would easily be the Strong Arm.

When I was 15 my dad got me an 06 auto it was black and stainless steel with have serrations and someone stole it from me at work and since then I haven’t been able to find that knife again

Not a big fan of Gerber but the 06 Auto is a beast... brought one and it held up the action is less smooth than it was but i dont judge it. I beated the hell out of it
