Listening to brain.fm while working has also helped me focus. It’s like when my brain hears the music, it knows it’s time to focus. I deliberately try to not use my phone, check email, or check any other notifications when I’m listening to the brain.fm music. That way when I hear it, it’s an auditory trigger for my mind that says hey, it’s time to do focused work now. Something about the music I also find makes it better than classical music, binaural beats, or really any other type or music. I have also found working out on the morning and having a high protein/high fat breakfast really helps me, too.

I tried brain.fm for a while too! I also tried out just listening to brown noise on KZfaq which I think works just as well for me. Maybe there's a video there haha

Cool video man! What you said about being thirsty/hungry...does that apply at night too? Like I should just drink water if I'm craving snacks? I really want to understand late-night cravings better. I saw some random article that talked about how if we wanted greasy food we wanted magnesium and if we craved ice we craved something else etc. Did you already make a video on that?
@reysu

I definitely think it applies at night too. I experimented wearing a glucose monitor and whenever I would eat a small snack, it would cause a big glucose spike which affected my mood and sleep. Eating at night tends to negatively impact my sleep (due to elevated heart rate and metabolism), which can cause cravings the next day, creating a negative feedback loop. I talked about it in this video a bit! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mrpkkqWmubuzZmQ.html Also these are just things I learned from experiments and my personal experience, so take it with a grain of salt!

If you keep this up you will gain a ton of subscribers. You are producing very high-quality and engaging content (which I am sure you know). Don't let the low number of views discourage you. This is 1mil + subscriber-level content. Keep up the good work :)

Biohacking Habits: 1. Deliberate Cold Exposure: Cold showers or ice baths increase dopamine levels, promoting mental clarity and alertness for several hours. 2. Cardio Exercise: Engaging in a 30-minute run or walk, accompanied by a podcast, can induce a state of flow and motivation. 3. Wim Hof Breathing: Following Wim Hof's breathing techniques for 10-15 minutes can induce a meditative and focused state. 4. Hydration: Drinking two liters of water daily helps maintain consistent energy levels and prevents mistaking thirst for hunger, avoiding glucose spikes. 5. Bright Light Exposure: Exposing oneself to bright light, preferably sunlight, or artificial daylight in the morning improves energy levels and focus. Note: These habits can lead to improved productivity, focus, and motivation, even during challenging circumstances like illness.
