Today I'm taking a look at one of the cheapest HDMI capture cards I've come across on Amazon. At the time of purchase the card was only $5, though the price does jump around from time to time. As of the posting of this video it's sitting at $8.99, but fortunately the highest it's gone is $10 according to Camel Camel Camel.
Also, I should have demonstrated the video capture from my PS3 without using the video splitter in order to prove that it can bypass HDCP, but I completely forgot.

Not from indivual joins. Instead, I get a lump sum per video. That said, the more people that sign up with my link the more likely they are to sponsor future videos as well.

This might be worth a look to see if I could feed the iPhone SE2 with Filmic Pro into the PC, supposedly Filmic Pro does allow a clean HDMI at 1080P 30 (or maybe 60) with audio from an iPhone. Android can do clean without audio unless that has changed.

I've noticed at five below in their physical stores and online that they've added new like this such as ethernet cables, ac power cord, and even speaker wire. So maybe we may see it sooner than later!

Good call. I've seen some of those as well, and I even picked up one of their Bluetooth audio adapters. I was very surprised to find out that the new version is both a transmitter and a receiver.

Looks good at 720p , my phone has it's own video recorder for games that I kinda like however if i was also charging and playing a game i might as well plug this in for the times i wish i was recording , and even it's a bunch of me loosing

which apps did you install on your phone so that the hdmi grabber got detected ?

The grabber works with most generic USB webcam/FPV/endoscope apps as long as your Android device supports external cameras.

@@ClyFaker but no phones manufacturers advertise wether their phones supports external cameras or not . Don't you think it's a matter of having a specific android version and otg capable ?

Yes and no. Certain Android versions do have issues with external cameras due to how their drivers work, but I have tested this grabber on multiple devices. In one instance I had a tablet and phone with the same version of Android and both had OTG support. However, only the phone could use external cameras (this grabber and a couple others included). The tablet would ask for the permissions, but every device I hooked up just gave a black screen.

This is an interesting gadget. Since windows doesn’t have dvd drive support anymore I wonder if there’s a way to install this into the drive slot of a laptop. Plan is to find out what connection does what and the data transfer rate. Get one of those dvd to SSD trays for a dvd slot loader, and combine that with a hdmi capture device. That way there’s no need for a powered hdmi splitter, and I can use my laptop as the hdmi hub. I doubt this will work at all though.😆
