I know! I took a DNA test cause I’m American and I’m curious. It’s like 80% British mostly Irish but the rest was Scandinavian with a hint of indigenous american. Something about chants…. I can’t explain

I'm of "pure" Irish descent, and married a girl of Norwegian and Swedish ancestry. Wasn't until many years later we found out, my Irish is mostly Vikings who settled the coastal areas. Explains why an Irish guy is well over 6 feet tall and heavily built!

It's BEYOND irritating to be half asleep and an ad comes on and jars you awake! Not once or twice, but a FEW TIMES. I understand they need to make money and all, but I use this kind of music to fall asleep to. And ads late at night, keeps jarring me just as I'm about to fall asleep.

I've studied Greek mythology and it is really good, but Norse is crazy intriguing and just the way things are portrayed in like the Edda and other articles are so original! lol I legit wrote a whole paragraph for no reason...

I'm English, but my maternal dna test showed that half of my ancestors are Scandinavian. Most likely from the viking invaders. I'm also related to a king Olaf who apparently conquered Northumbria! Amazing, we Brits are like dolly mixtures. This is an absolutely beautiful song. 💙

My ancestors are of from Ireland but my older ancestry traces back to Sweden and Scotland/eastern parts of Ireland so when I hear this it sounds like….home
