A new 21min long song, this time - finally, as promised for a long time - a Viking song. This is the first time I made a Viking song in my series of relaxing superlength songs that are all 20min+ long. The title is Icelandic and means “unwalked” as translated by a very awesome person from Iceland who helped me with correct translations. I wanted to make a song that gets you transported into an ancient time of our world, deep inside the forests of the north, where any human soul is uncountable miles far away, and all that exists is the endless wilderness, the cold and the forces of a long forgotten spirit world that seems to become alive, here in the absence of human presence.
PS: The voice is my own that you hear in there somewhere.^^
PPS: The Viking album is coming very close to completion now with this song!
All music composed and arranged on keyboard, by myself as always.

I'm a Dane and I grew up in a small forest village with about a hundred people living there. My life has always been in the forest and there is nothing that calms me more than the forest at night. Now I live in a bigger city for university. Adrian, when I hear your music and look at this picture, I can feel something pull at me from the pit of my stomach. I get goosebumps and a strong sense of longing washes over me. My hair stands on end and all I want is to hear the crunch of snow and leaves under my boots. My heart belongs in the North. Ive read many of the comments here. The thing about music is that it invokes imagery, emotions, fantasy, longings. This song does it all. I've read many comments about longing for another time, a time of real-life experience and struggle. A time when what was yours was yours and could only be taken by force. A time when family ties were as strong as iron and the land was the lifeblood of the hearth. A time when the balance between mother and father in the home was respected, each knowing their duty without complaint. A time when the Gods of our ancestors lived strong in the heart of the folk. A time when we did not know too much as we do now and the world was still full of mystery and magic. I long for that time and age as well.

But we have a law that is basically called "right to public access" you can go into the woods and pick berries and mushrooms and camp if you want even if its "privately owned" But you cant cut down trees because those belong to the owner. I meet hikers/ sometimes hunters were my family own some forest. In Nordic countries we believe that everybody should get the chance to be in the forest and enjoy life. We have no problem with this.

I know it is not scandinavia, but it was he first time ever that I felt I was really in nature, cause we were an 8 hour walk from the road. I have travelled to so many cities, but still this was the best experience in my whole life. I love the nature, and this music makes me reconnect to it. But what about me? haha Im Brazilian and always felt connected to the nordics and the Nordic culture! This kind of music, the Nordic countries... Apparently I have never had any connections to these people in my life! Iceland, Norway, Finland.. these places always called my attention! The nature, the people, the weather! And actually I’ve never felt Brazilian to be honest! Always felt different from the people here! This song brings me peace, takes me to somewhere! I wish i can visit a nordic country and go in a forest and just experience that cold and reconnect with mother nature ... i saw a comment here saying that this longing that we have today for this freedom is the call of nature to come back home , come back to it. I can see them wandering, marching through the forest; the crisp spiky leaves poking through their worn shoes, stabbing at their feet. It is freezing cold and yet they continue in their bulky old fur jackets torn from the very animals they ate. But it wasn't just animals that they hunted, but they also hunted humans, seeking their treasures and riches. Jewel's and suffering however brought fear into the land and although the Viking's were mighty their consciences were drooping. They chanted and chanted trying block out the guilt; the regret but every victim left a stamp, a scar. They slowly turned to madness one by one and so they continued, hollow and heartless walking through the icy, snowy forest like clockwork. I can see them.

Thirty-three percent French./ German was the largest portion. The rest was a mixture of DNA from Western Russia, Scandinavia, Norway, Scottish, Irish, British and traces of DNA all the way to Morocco. Researching my father's family name they had intermarried with Vikings. No Native American blood at all. Now I am trying to learn about the Vikings.
