Thanks for the review Coop! For those interested... The specs on our site: 77”: 230lbs with weight horns, 205lbs without weight horns and the 92”: 240lbs with weight horns, 215lbs without weight horns. Both are rated to hold up to 2,500lbs. Our 77" without the easily removable weight horns is 205lbs vs other options that are 2x3" at 185lbs. So just a 20lb difference, and you get all the 3x3" attachments since 2x3" is no longer supported by most companies. As Coop said, you could just bend your knees and still do pull ups on the 77", so it's less awkward to move around for those want a more 'yoke experience' and more versatile for sled pushes, carries, and move it inside/outside. On top of that, you can use j-cups and spotter arms to use it as a squat stand and bench press station even if you don't get the pull up bar.

What is the weight capacity of the pull up bar?

I've watched this review so many times! I agree - a yoke is the way forward, but there arent many 3x3 options (especially below 90" that still has a decent pull up height - 7ft would be the sweet spot!) and even less reviews on yokes in general! The first company to make a 3x3 yoke, with 7' uprights and 1 inch holes, adjustable pull up bar, quick release yoke cross member and J cups included would wipe the market clean! That would be the absolute sweet spot for vesatility and small spaces. A full yoke comparison review would go down a treat! Keep 'em coming

Thanks for the review! I was confused by some of the details about what the different available configurations are and what they cost. The Rep website cleared that up, but it’s be great to get a quick overview of that in the video. Even if it was just the range of prices (high and low) and a list of the four available configurations.

I used this at their PA store grand opening and it shocked me at how heavy it was! I didn’t even know it was 385 lb (which is my DL PR), but I did get it off the ground briefly before it started to lean back on me. It’s crazy how much weight it feels like when it’s somewhat unbalanced like that. I agree that it could have been slightly lighter and maxed out @ 80” tall. 77” uprights on top of the 3” base would be better for most homeowners. Great design and features, just not for me.

You can take off the handle component which makes it lighter. Not for me either but that is because I am not interested in a yoke anyways and have space limitations.

When you tried to use it as a sled I could see that the center of mass, and hand position, is too high, that's why it was sticking to the ground . The front feet grab the ground and it "wants" to tip rather than slide.

I agree, I believe they should have tried to push it from the opposite direction. I noticed when using plain sleds, the handles are rear of the weight. Maybe that it why it was trying to dip.

I hope you guys do the Fray Fitness rack and functional trainer coming up. It is 2600$ for the rack and the functional trainer combined. Which is way cheaper than the Ares system with the necessary rack. In fact it is cheaper than most functional trainers by itself! It looks like an awesome piece of equipment. Built in functional trainers built into racks is going to be the future I believe. I think in the next 10 years it will be a standard feature in most racks. Anyways thanks for thr content! Love the passion!

Coop, great review and summary. I’m so glad you got one of these to test. Recently i just bought a REP SR4000 squat rack which is the mini me of this, I got it for a 3rd rack in my shop/gym. I debated about getting one of these for the reasons you stated, the options are endless, and i have a 10ft door to take it in and out of, so even the 92 inch version would work. Here’s the thing like you said; would you use the other features enough? I’m not a “strongman” (don’t tell my wife 😁), and at 5’9” i don’t think i could push this thing around, it’s too dam heavy. If they made a lighter “PR4000” yoke, i would be all over it! For the reasons you said, you could just move the darn thing around your gym, and change the layout or even move it outside to squat or lift with on a nice day. Just like the AB4100 which is their “sweet spot” quality bench (which i got cause of your review), they need a version of this you could make heavier just by adding plates, it’s like they almost overdid it, even though the design is fantastic. Smaller pull up bar, 86-90” height, and those sweet rotating handles, with a much cheaper price, this thing is worth the money, I just couldn’t justify the $1,000 more than an SR4000, so maybe an $800-$900 Yoke with the same set up, just lighter would be MONEY!! “Hey man, check out my gym, what is that, we’ll it’s a YOKE, let me show you how bad ass it is, (while I can’t lift or move it) 😆

Thanks for demonstrating the sled on concrete! The fact that it’s that rough will discourage MOST people from that expensive feature. Myself included. I plan on getting this thing, and I would probably get the 92" version over the 77" if disassembly/assembly were that much quicker. Steel is heavy. You have to make a trade off. You can make it lighter but it WILL flex and have a short life. Honestly, this isn’t ever going to be something for the ladies unless they are already quite experienced. Physics can’t be beaten. Fortunately a dedicated yoke and rickshaw would be much cheaper and lighter, just more space taken.

Also it looks tippy when you lift from the trap bar, but you didn't mention that with extra weight via plates on the base, that it won't tip like that. Which is also why it's made for much bigger/stronger people that can lift way more than 385#

I still don’t understand why no one makes a 3x3 5/8” yoke targeted at the home gym market and held together with a removable pull up bar. Sure, the frame carry and sled are cool, but seem kind of gimmicky, even if you’re into strong man and then it’s $1400 for everything, which seems crazy. However, a sturdy yoke that I can use my existing attachments on as an outdoor squat rack in the spring/summer and stores pretty much flat against the wall during the winter for like $600 bucks seems like it’s a no brainer. Bonus if it comes in a rust proof coating instead of powder coat.

I don't understand the to heavy comments. I complete and coach in strongman. One of my lady athletes just did max distance yoke in comp at 380lbs. This product is not for everyone. Its designed specifically for strongman athletes. Everyone else not so much.

The way its designed when used as a sled you are naturally pushing down into the ground. If you lower your grip it will slide much better.
