I took the opportunity while doing my Thomas Kincade puzzle of Cinderella to share with you some of my 5 jigsaw puzzle tips and why I use them . I hope they work for you if not enjoy the time lapse of the puzzle.

I like the idea of putting it together on the poster board frame, that helps. Like the tips for sorting the pieces. And turning it upside down, wow. Hadn't thought of that. Casual Girl was doing a tough puzzle that was all blue too. Thanks for sharing. Debbie

Thanks so much! I just love my Thomas kincade I want to fill the whole wall LOL , I am working on the Milan on now but will have to wait until Michaels opens to get more ( I like to use my 40% coupon I get them for 7$ I saw the Mulan one on Amazon for $55 it was crazy)

Its Joeysworld thanks was just telling hubby it’s hard to film that especially where I’m doing them in my office. Doing the Milan one now.

Hey Nikki! Great tips! I grew up with a dad who loved to do jigsaw puzzles and we always seemed to have one in the works on our dining room table. Lots of wonderful memories of the family gathered around talking and searching for pieces. Now, I always take a few puzzles up to our cabin to work on. So relaxing. Thanks for sharing!-Sue

That is awesome! I always did puzzles with my family to and lots of times my daughter will help. We were working on a 1K Night Mare before Christmas and had to give up it was too hard LOL

Organize the nubs made me chuckle. I'm always making what to call something. I haven't done a puzzle in forever. Small ones are so easy, but I lose patience and attention for large ones lol.

Thanks you might try the puzzle apps on your phone the pictures are very clear and you could blow it up. Not quite the same as feeling the piece in your hands but it’s still fun I appreciate your time

My wife loves working puzzles. I never had the patience to do it. lol. I get bored easy. Small attention span. She before we started RVing worked several hundred puzzles. Thanks for sharing.

I can see how you wouldn't have much room I have never tried those clothes you roll them up on if they work that might be an option she can do them outside on a fold up table on a nice day.

Haha! You call them nubs I call them: man shape pieces, H shape or dollar signs, 3 point pieces, then odd ones that can be completely varied wonky pieces 😊 just the way my brain works, thanks for your video I am a veteran puzzler and enjoy them immensely. It’s nice to know how others organize and plan out their techniques, how different brains work!

Thanks for sharing. Everybody's got their own system. I like to find about four or five elements in the puzzle that can be distinguished either by color or a pattern and work them each separately like they are their own puzzle. Then I'll try and fit them together and divide all remaining pieces by shape like you did in the video. I don't like to do the edges first b/c it takes some of the fun out of it for me, but I know that's slower.

When starting the edge, after sorting by color I then sort by "male" and "female" so that I only have half the pile to look thru to find my next piece in a "string".

4th tip, the nubs. I call that, when you down right get methodical. Hahaha. Separating the pieces as per their shapes. Sometimes, them dark sections or similar colored sections, with separated pieces it's easier to first knock out shapes, then start just trying fit the pieces when the going gets tougher. When in doubt, flip them pieces over to check the cardboard cut and see how it looks. Great tips.

@@hannahsdrawings8664 thank you it is, I at this point only use what comes with Final Cut Pro and the music from KZfaq (attribution not required) that way when I download them to my computer and go back to use them later I don’t have to worry that I’m forgetting to tag some one .
