This is NOT an accident, this is murder!!! That impact looked like over 100 mph!!

I almost died in a car crash where someone driving way too fast, lost control and hit me head on. I always tell people, it's not my driving I'm worried about..... It's everyone else's

This was not a "trying to beat the light" That red light was already on for a while.

That was so fast. I could hardly tell what happened at first. Honestly 130mph +, it was like a bullet.

This is how my girlfriend died, 9 years ago I'm so fulled of anger just because some fucker was late to work

Remember y'all we can die at any moment for any reason. There is no such thing as safety in this world, so live your best, don't fear death, and keep living it's all you can do. Make safe choices and maybe things can be a bit better.

Damn, the initial crash was intense. Imagine just driving down the road and BAM you’re hit so hard there is a fire. It is my hope those who died did so on impact and passed away without having a chance to remember what had happened or felt any pain. Prayers for all victims and their families. Any one of those cars could have been hit and the people lost their lives being burned to death! That person or people in that Prius and the white SUV were lucky and the other car hit was not. How tragic and horrific! Makes you realize how just being at the wrong place at the wrong time could mean your last day here on earth. Prayers to the victims and their families🙏😢

Those barriers in the gas station literally saved the whole community around it. If one of those flaming cars would have hit a pump that whole block would have been gone. There are 4 gas stations in that intersection, we know how big it is for 1 to explode but 4!!!! That’s something insane we should never hope to see.

Seeing this just rips my guts out, who drives like that and just because she was mad! This is murder to me, she drove that car like she was launching a missile.

It did not run a red light, it literally crashed into a whole bunch of cars that were driving through, there was absolutely NO place for that car to go but into another car, so running the light was not the plan, crashing was.

Wow i always tell my daughter driving is dangerous. Some ppl think they safe in their cars..Everytime you drive your life is in danger.

This why I'm so overly cautious when I drive. I'm not just looking ahead, I look sideways at intersections. You can't just assume everyone is going to come to a complete stop. A similar accident happened while I was in Houston about three years ago on the beltway. A truck came flying through the intersection w/ my daughter & nephew in the car with me and instead of hitting me, it flipped over a truck that was driving right next to me. Unfortunately it was a hit and run, but I give The Most High ALL the glory for keeping us that day. Even the man that got flipped over. He survived too.

Coming down La Brea, going south it's scary at times. Whoever provoked this, deserves de death penalty.

Was...was that a suicide run?! That car was going so fast and so carelessly through a VERY busy intersection it looked like suicide. Haven't seen a car go that fast since the Daytona 500.

I hate that intersection. People drive down slauson way too fast and now we have lost 5 beautiful souls.

I just lost my mom but she was 86, ill and I got to say goodbye before she past. I just can't imagine the pain these families are going though.

It turns out the woman was drunk and fighting with her boyfriend when this happened. She should definitely have to do hard time for this.

Oh my, what a horrific accident! Those cars were instantaneously engulfed in flames and there is nothing anyone could have done to save the victims. What was going on with the Mercedes driver? There was no attempt to slow down, never mind stopping at the red light!

Unless the person who was driving that Mercedes that caused this Wreck had some kind of medical issue going on at the time of the Crash....then if they survived this Horror, they need to be Sentenced to Life Without The Possibility of Parole for at least 50 years. That will give them enough time to think about Reckless driving and the Devastation they have caused!!

The 40 year old female driver of the speeding Mercedes survived the accident. Her friend came forward and said the driver had been drinking prior to the accident, so she was impaired. Unbelievable. My condolences to the family and friends of all the victims of this horrific scene. P.S. Real friends don’t let friends drink and drive. Uber and Lyft, use them if you’re going to be out drinking.

You can easily tell the rate of speed that car was going is well above 90+MPH. I can't believe that suspect would drive that fast on local streets. Either that person was angry, wanted to commit suicide, or perhaps car throttle malfunction which is very unlikely. My sincere condolence to the people who went through this tragedy. 💔

Had 37-year-old Nicole Lorraine Linton been paying attention she would have stopped at the red light like all the other drivers, but instead, being obviously very distracted by something, likely her phone whild texting, she sailed through a busy intersection, destroying at least two other vehicles, and instantly ended the lives of several innocent people. Also, had she not been stopped by signage and the cars she impacted, she was only a few feet and a second or two away from inpacting a gasoline pump with 1,000's of gallons of gasoline burried below. There could possibly have been such an enormous explosion that everyone in the entire intersection would have been burned alive. Not even a skid indicating an attempt to stop is seen in the excellent surveilance video. This woman need to be put away for many years, shes a danger to society.

That Mercedes was going exceedingly fast. There is alot more to this story. As fast as this person was driving, and blowing through that red light, makes me wonder if that person was having a medical emergency at the wheel and perhaps, was not conscious at the wheel or something else, some sort of foul play was at work here. I don't even know how the driver of the Mercedes could be alive but it seems like the ones that cause these accidents survive while their actions cause the demise of others. I read that a woman took a photo of the driver of the crash sitting on a sidewalk while the fires went on.....also the car that split in half was of the family killed.young pregnant woman and her not yet 1 year old and her boyfriend soon to be husband. Breaks hearts...

The news isn’t saying it but the pregnant woman was ripped open and her unborn baby flew out of her stomach hitting the street and practically blowing up on impact. My brother was one of the first responders there on scene and told me when he was on the way there the other first on scene responders said it was the most brutal accident they’ve ever seen.

what I am trying understand is that how fast she was going. To get that rate of speed that she was going, she had to been driving fast up until that point where she finally ran into someone. This led me to believe that this was a attempt at suicide, but it failed on her end.

When I was pregnant, going down a separated roadway, with a grassy median...a car coming from the opposite direction of me came over the median & ran right into the car behind me. That was really weird. God was watching over me.

The image of this crash is crystal clear from what I'm guessing is a gas station camera. The driver in the Mercedes was exceeding freeway speeds. How horrible and shocking.

I was turning on centinela and la brea at 1:35 because I decided not to take slauson after I told my mom I get anxiety driving down slauson because people drive so crazy down that street omg I cnt believe we were near that intersection when it happened and I avoided the area

That was no accident! It clear that it was a murder suicide. The speed alone says it all. Nobody and I mean nobody that drives that fast does it while distracted.
