Just 2 points of clarification: - When you stop time, you do not need to re-start the clock when someone uses their ability to discard cards, only when cards are played to the field - You cannot discard cards randomly just because you don't have anything useful in your hand to try and draw more cards. The only way you can get rid of them is if you play them against an enemy/obstacle or use your special ability

I backed this on Kickstarter and have the Cursed expansion, the biggest thing I can say is remember your power, don't just throw cards in the middle, a little discussion goes a LONG way.

Dave your shuffling is amazing to watch. I hope one day I can shuffle as good as you can.

You CAN'T use special cards on the boss. But you CAN use "Holy hand granade" on the boss. Also, everybody CAN use their speical ability once during a pause. You CAN'T just discard and draw 3 new cards (if it's not your special ability). You can (and almost have to) change the decks in play between rounds.

Yeah, this is not a game to bring around my normal tabletop nights, too many thinkers who like to have their time taken. But seem like a fun game, might pick it up to try with new peoples who usually avoid tabletop games as they take too much time. Thanks for sharing guys! Stay safe.

Got the Marvel version after seeing this since the kids loved Marvel and I need a short game on my library. But it lacks the tense and it was fairly easier (point noted by other reviewers as well). Have to pencil this one in later in the year then

I went to this bar call Tavern of tales and they have their own special sound effects for 5 min dungeon. Played it there for the first time and it was super fun. I want to buy one soooooo bad. No one to play it with tho :'(

Are you really allowed to discard your hand even if you can't use your power? We always played it that you can't discard unless u can use your power or are told too.

I actually really like this game. This is actually one of the few games that I own that I have it in a different language than my native language because it's that good and since it's fairly language independent after you know what the text cards do.

When you have to pass your hand, can 3 people pass to the same person so 2 people don't get anything and can draw a new hand?

Is it not in the rules that you can't pick up a card you've lain down? Is that just a house rule my group made up?

It's not well explained in the rules... in a 4-player game with a 3 card minimum, drawing 2-4 cards should always mean over and above the minimum. Am I right? Does this make sense? Also, at 29:09, all action cards should be swept away. The card said ALL players pick 3 from the discard pile, you'll notice the black card went into his discard pile and he, therefore, did not pick up his 3 cards from his own discard pile.

just to say. as far as i know you can use the holy grenade to defeat the boss as well and you did use it on the last monster right before the boss my friends are way too stupid for this game, like the magic bomb or whats it called, lets you add 1 of each symbol, my friends never understand what that means, they always think that you have to call 1 symbol and it counts as that symbol, same problem with the wild card but jeah, there i just can say whatever the other thing is, even if i play like a few times with them, people are mostly too slow to follow the game my friends really like this game but do i think its a good game? no absolutly not, the skills confuse player more often then its helpfull and makes player useless for like 1 whole min while they try to read and for me, because of the lack of skill from my friends i have to play even harder and that is just annoying, not that this game needs alot of skill but somehow you cant play it with everyone, its for people that are already trained to react fast with small input, like people that do alot of match 3 colour puzzle or something like this or of course gamers
