Besides being a coaster, if you use different fabrics it'll be easy for guests to know their glass from someone elses

I see you have a stitched X on the back. When would I do this step? Also, your corners looked mitered. Should I miter them or just stitch across like you show in the tutorial? Thank you.

Could you explain how you mitred the corners? It appears in the video, although it was great, you merely completed a simple fold down; however, the final frames show the mitred corners. Am I mistaken?

You didn’t show the mitered corners????

Hi Sherryl, I watched this 3 times. I noticed that you sewed an “x” on the back of the coaster that was not shown in instructions. Also your coaster has mitered corners

Hi Carol. Sorry for the confusion. The "X" stitch pattern is not necessary because the square is so small - but you can do that stitch pattern if you like. You can make it with or without the mitered corners. Thanks for watching💗and happy holidays😍
