I also really love this look for the cards. Everybody is usually stressed this time of year; these cards will bring in back the childlike fun I think. Especially when I add the humor of saying for the inside: “look at what I did especially for you after I finally graduated art school this year.” I am 78😆

One thing that I have learned from you with watercoloring and in many other painting projects before this is that not everything has to be done with the paints. Adding details with pens (such as the bauble hangers) makes things so realistic and is certainly simpler to do. I did not know that painters use other products...not just paint. Your doodles add so much to any of your projects! Definitely a great thing to have learned. Thanks, Marta! The world is a more special place with you in it!

and then, after discovering you in this video, I went and explored your other videos ... the honest video of your struggles did make me stop and think. yes, like watercolors, there is so much to learn, so much to work through, and these are real. yet, even in the stack of ugly paintings i've done, there is a discovery of color and magic and surprise and learning. may your talent and delight never be extinguished. may you know that your life pilgrimage is done with others who find in you a reason to keep on discovering. and, after re-reading my first comment, I am sobered, but I want to affirm what I first wrote, hoping you hear a deep appreciation for you, your video ... and YOU.

I just LOVED making all of your cards. After I made them, I invited 4 of my 9 grandchildren over to make these cards with them. They had a BLAST doing it. I have to tell you that some of the younger children made The CUTEST cards -- one reindeer had a mess of wire & lights wrapped in his antlers -- so cute! Some of them added gold sparkly watercolor to the trees. We did not have a Merry Christmas stamp, so we used individual letters and stamped: JOY and NOEL which looked so sweet. Thank you so much for making this a fun and easy project for me and for my grandchildren. I'll do this with the others kids next! I really liked the wreath so much -- delicate and whimsical. The gnome was fun too.

My favourites were the wreath and the abstract trees! I live by some sayings; "art is for everyone", "create for the sake of creation", and "make bad art". This video really encompasses my values! Reading the comments and seeing everyone getting inspired and motivated, that's so beautiful! I love people like you who show people how to make beautiful things in a simple way! You inspire so many beginners to get started! That is what "make bad art" is about. If you never start making art, if you never make those "bad" pieces, how will you ever make the "good" art? You're living my dream, encouraging people to follow theirs, and that's just amazing to me. Happy holidays!

Actually female and male reindeer both have antlers. Male reindeer shed their antlers in winter.

Both Male and Female Reindeer have antlers, The males shed theirs around September, which begs the question is Rudolf a girlie? :-)

I love you accent and trying of English words they are not the easiest to learn :D I giggle when you say bubble for baubles it is so cute as my grandson calls them bubbles too :) Love how simply these cards are I am definitely going to try them :) you make me smile Marta in a time that is not so good for me.
