I just came here to say coming at the lash from up instead of straight on is exactly what I was doing wrong. This is the only tutorial which explained the angle to put it on at. Thank you SO MUCH for explaining that. I’m going to do some pretty makeup now!

Great tips! Recently I've turned to using half lashes because they're so much easier. No matter what I do the strip lashes just don't stay down. Plus I can feel them. I buy K19 lashes from eBay, cut them in half, and apply them UNDER my lashes. I think part of my problem was curling my lashes. It seemed logical but I can understand why it wouldn't be.

I stick to individuals because they look more natural and if you lose one it isn't noticeable plus I find them super easy and fast to apply. Full eyelashes make me nervous and self conscious that it will lift.

+Kinsey Newton oh girl!!! You could teach me a thing or two about the individual lashes! Those overwhelm me more than the strip lashes lol I need to practice!!! :)

Kinsey Newton, Never have I mastered lash strips with glue.. 😣 I've tried so many times lol.. I too always have liked the individual ones. I've also recently tried magnetic strips and really liked those too..

Thank you for the great video! I used to use Latisse, I absolutely loooved it, but when I ran out last spring, I didn't want to pay so much for it. My lashes returned to "normal", skimpy, straight, light brown and ugly. They're was a salon offering free extensions plus a free fill, then reduced pricing for fills. They were gorgeous, but they were so high maintenance that I couldn't sleep properly, couldn't get them wet, always had to be aware of them. They only looked good for about a week. They're now gone, so now while I wait for my new shipment of Latisse, I've had to use false lashes. Tried the magnetic, OMG, so frustrating. Today for the first time, I used the regular lashes with the glue. Overall, they looked great, just like Latisse, but just a tad above my lashline because I had curled my lashes before. I'm feeling much more confident and I'll be rocking my falsies with confidence. Thanks, girl!! 😘

+Chayenne A 1) you can totally do it!! Start with a simple lash. My faves are the ardell Demi wispies (super thin band and they look good on everyone). 2) wedding video coming really soon! lol I PROMISE! Xo

I agree with the woman who said that she really needs to know how to do this. I've been practicing for 3 years and used so many different kinds of lashes and so many ways to put them on.and watch so many videos that it feels like it's impossible and I will be so happy if this video works because it will be a miracle otherwise I don't know what I'm going to do

I trimmed mine because they were too long overall... took me ages but it was worth it. Noone noticed the fake lashes even after asking them to take a closer look at my eye :)

AAVS Try using half lashes instead. I think you'll find them much easier to work with. I buy K19 lashes from eBay. Cut them in half and apply them UNDER my lashes with Kiss glue. You could certainly apply them on top as well. Best of luck! 👍

I feel this. Exactly what I was doing wrong. I couldn’t understand why when my friends did them they looked perfect and went up but when I did it what seemed exactly the same mine went out and you couldn’t see them. I tried everything from curling the lashes to trying individual lashes. Now I get it. This was super helpful.

Can I put the lash band on my lashes or will it ruin my real lashes vs right on the lid as close as I can to my lashes? I think I’m not letting the glue dry long enough. Or something. I can NEVER EVER get my lashes on. I always try again but I can never seem to get them to stay but I think I also need to cut them shorter. We shall see!! I’ll let you know!!!

Lashes are the hardest thing in the world to apply! 😩 once I had them on on a date they were so uncomfortable (probably because I didn’t put them on right) I pulled them right off on my date 🤪.. but when I’m applying am I putting them like basically on my lashes or on my eyelid close to my lashes
