Yes cause I had to shine a flashlight on mine and then try to remember the symbols for things or either the order of the symbols.But the clock light is almost too bright

To defrost or heat on low... Hit Time Cook, select minutes i.e. 5 min, hit power level, then - or plus (5 would be half power).

anybody know how to cook 2 baked potatoes in this micro using the sensor buttons? with My old one when you pressed the potatoe button it would show a number so you could choose how many potatoes....With this one it just flashes SC-3?

Silly question.. I just bought mine a hr ago. We are supposed to move the square piece of cardboard that is covering the holes where the lights are to the right, when you open the door on inside?

My wife and I just got this microwave and couldn't find the popcorn button. We read the manual several times and that didn't help. Then decided to try to find a youtube video. THANK YOU VERY MUCH, for taking time to make this video. You would think they would include the location of the menu buttons in the direction. I couldn't find it. Thanks again!!!

keep pressing the 1 or 5 minutes button until you get to where you want. Then the minus button under the 1 minute option, to take away a few seconds.

I've been trying to figure how to reduce the power level, however, every time I hit power level it doesn't do anything and just shows p10, I've tried everything and it's nowhere in the instructional guide. Ps I noticed those buttons 2 weeks after I got it 😂😂

I just looked in the instructions manual on page 13, it is instruction 10 Memory Function. Has instructions on how to change the power level (PL). I hope this helps 🙂

@@Naya_689 Hint: it's one of the last buttons you hit. Just before you select the power level 1-10. Start by selecting time then hit power level then select 1-10.

I really like my Hamilton beach microwave, but my ONLY beef is the panel doesn’t light up. Would have never purchased it. Very disappointing. Like what were they thinking? Too late now. Phone light helps some. But on the bright side I can warm stuff during the daytime!!!😂😅🤣

Remember to be very careful don’t use the microwave without putting something in a friend did it, it caught fire and had to replace and get another 1. so be very CAREFUL!

Fe 🌺 you should get one of those little domes you put over your plate or bowl to reheat in the microwave you can get them at Walmart they come in real handy , keep in moisture and keeps messes down from splatters ! It's fun finding out new things a gadget can do 😃👍

I love this microwave. We got it for Christmas. I came here wondering how the sensors work I believe it senses for a few minutes at an average appropriate temperature for what you chose (popcorn, frozen vegetable, ect) then after a while it actually starts a timer It’s weird trying to use it for things that already have microwave directions, because I don’t know which is best haha

Yes, it is in the .manual. Hope you have found it.If not hold the pause button for three seconds or until it beeps and shows a rectangular symbol and then hold for three or. more seconds to unlock.

@@FelineFe Totally understand what you mean. Another thing I’ve got an issue with is the color of the Start/Pause button. I keep on hitting the Start button to stop the cycle because of the color. I’m use to Green = Go, Red = Stop. I know the Pause/Stop button is blue but it looks green under dim lighting. I’m under the impression someone skipped UX design class. Otherwise, if this microwave was designed and made in China I’m quite certain we’re being screwed with. Its not like microwaves were invented yesterday…there honestly should be a one microwave to rule them all at this point. Just venting here but holy damnation, no wonder there’s so much garbage in the world.

I’ll be excited when I find out how to set 5 second intervals. The newer ones don’t have the 0 thru 9 key pad anymore. Just a 1 min & 5 min with - and + buttons. I have never needed to read the instruction manual on a microwave before and can’t find it now! I can get like 40 seconds set but not 45 seconds, and it makes a difference with breakfast biscuits, grrrr! It also vibrates strange when in use compared to my previous HB microwave! This is so ridiculous! 🥴😩🫤

Hint, when it gets down to 5 seconds, open the dayum door and make it stop
