Personally, I think the Hebra Lights are more like an equatorial aurora, since Hyrule is in the southern hemisphere (we can figure that out because the paths of the sun and moon are always to the north).

Not sure if anyone will see this, but I’m pretty sure that girl knows about the Master Sword because it’s a well-known legend across Hyrule. If I’m remembering right, other npcs would talk about it. Like the guy in the South Akkala Stable who would not believe Link when he says that the sword he has is the real deal. Or another guy in the stable near the Hebra Tower who mentions the blade and questions Link if he’s the chosen hero.

It's still bizarre to think that she takes one look at Link and KNOWS exactly who he is. The only people who knew exactly who link was, was the ones who were alive to see him, like Impa and most of the adult Zora (Even Sidon who was was really young at the time) You dont often see a person who wasnt born before the calamity calling out Links identity immediatly

One of my favorite things to discover was actually pretty small. When you are traveling from the Great Plateau towards Dueling Peaks, if you stop at a pile of rocks on the side of the road and it is night you can see a single silent shroom glowing on the side facing Dueling Peaks. Beside it is an area you can blow up. It leads to a small cave with (I think, it’s been a while) a goddess statue you can leave an apple and find a korok at. It’s a small and simple thing, but I didn’t find it until after I had logged over 200 hours in the game. It was so cool to have spent so much time in BotW but still find something new.

I was watching a few of the older videos and I thought of this really significant thing i’d love to see in botw2: There is a silent princess growing in zeldas study inside hyrule castle. This flower is meant to represent its battle to survive and blossom despite the difficult environment around it. this can be related to zelda and how she was fighting silently to hold her own against ganon in the castle all by herself. now imagine this: sometime after defeating calamity, link and zelda decide to look around Hyrule and zelda wants to check her room. she sees the silent princess and decides to make it her mission to relocate it outside. after replanting it she says “Everything’s going to be okay now, you were so strong and your work has paid off.” that would be so precious-

5:30 "Whether you're a longtime fan or a newcomer, I'm sure you know that cuccos can be deadly if you annoy them." Look at oot link. Strong as hell. And was able to learn strong magic. Then there's the Fierce Deity's mask- the embodiment of what he believed a warrior should look like. The zonai ruins are even in the same general vicinity as the old lost woods/kokiri forest/sacred forest meadow. You can find forest dweller weaponry scattered around the area. You can get the entire set at the present lost woods, all based off the weapons you got from the forest in oot as an adult and child. The bow, the sword, the shield (which is one of the smallest shields) and the spear aka deku stick.

The ruins give a sense of mystery, nostalgia but also sadness. It really gets to me. I know I said this before, but whenever I look at the ruins, I feel they are begging for reconstruction. The Side Quest "From the Ground Up " really made me feel like I'm contributing to Hyrule. I hope that side quest expands and maybe Bolson Construction develops their craft. Heck, if Akkala Citadel were to be a dungeon, maybe they can clear the dirt and rubble blocking the entrance. Seriously, I hope this idea becomes a reality. 🙂

OOH I've got some really awesome facts that most players don't know. Here I go: The music in botw is really well made and is filled with references. The most common ones being, Kass playing Epona's song at stables, and Temple of Time music just being a slow rendition of the temple of time ocarina of time theme. But there are more subtle ones that really hit the nail. The most interesting to me are: 1. In the divine beast music, without any terminals unlocked, SOS morse code is hidden in the theme. 2. If you listen to the parasailing theme, kzfaq.info/get/bejne/a9yniqmK3p-5cWQ.html, it is very upbeat. I was scrolling through the comments, and one person said, "Bet that's what Hyrule sounded like 100 years ago". Later on, I was listening to some botw tunes, and I came across the theme that plays when zelda and link are goofing around with the frog, not a care in the world, similar to the world before ganon. The theme that plays is, kzfaq.info/get/bejne/famVatGgu7HZmps.html, and you would realize that it's a remix of the parasailing theme. It's almost like nintendo knew what we were gonna think. Cool, eh? I had another fact, but I totally forgot it when I was writing the first one. Sorry! If I remember, I'll post it as another comment.

I feel like I find something new all the time. Today I just realized that if you feed your horse an endura carrot it increases max stamina for the horse. And yesterday I realized that satori mountain is swarmed all over with crows. Just small details that really change my perception of the game.

Cool video, but I already knew about the last thing, about the Northern Lights. I think I was climbing the Hebra Mountains in the dead of night, most likely Shrine hunting in that region when I caught the sight in the sky and decided to show it to my mom. She was relatively impressed lol. On another note, there is another secret that is extremely hard to miss. You would have to go absolutely out of your way to find this and do some research, and even then it is pretty hard to miss, and I think the only people who know about this who haven't experienced it in-game by doing research are people who watched Scruffy's video on the sound design of Breath of the Wild. I don't remember if it's the highest point of the Hebra Mountain's or Mount Hylia, but it is the top of a snowy mountain. When you head up to the top and wait until a certain time, the "fog snow" will clear out and the music will be altered ever so slightly. I don't remember how it was changed and in what way but, knowing the amount of details the Zelda Team has made with this game, it wouldn't be too surprising if Zelda Team added such a small secret such as this to weave into the music/sound design. Speaking of sound design, did you know that, when Link is wearing the Stealth Outfit, that not only will Link himself be quieter, but the shield, bow, and weapon he currently has on his back will make less noise? This implies that Link is actually handling his equipment more carefully when wearing the Stealth Outfit which is an extremely nice touch, not to mention that the sounds will change depending on the amount and types of equipment Link has on his back is a neat sound design element in of itself

I felt like Eliza waiting for the Hero beneath the tree was an easter egg to Twilight Princess, where a cursed swordsman (possibly the Hero of Time) rested beneath a tree in the northern courtyard of Hyrule Castle.
@OtakuUnitedStudio
@OtakuUnitedStudio 3 жыл бұрын
The Cursed Swordsman isn't the Hero of Time. The Hero's Spirit, AKA the Golden Wolf, is confirmed to be in Hyrule Historia. The Cursed Swordsman seems to be either a generic knight with no major importance to the overall series or a different Hero than the Hero of Time.

3:37 It’s interesting because those same type of ruins are found on one of the stal floors in the final trials. Perhaps the original design was made by the Sheikah as well? However we only know of one other race that uses square shaped buildings- the Hylians from Hateno and Tarry Town. Love the theory as always ❤️
